you can actually do it a little quicker way... just make your guidline the same with then shave it down... then go about a inch up with the fade masters OPEN.. then fade down with the middle notch then back down to the closed position... idk why you used the fast feed closed then proceed the same way with the 1/16 on the fast feed and so on, I'm perhaps missing something?? good tutorial tho !

For the most part the first line I make in the back is with the fast feeds closed somewhere in-between the bottom of the earlobe and after where an earring would be. Then i make another line with the liners right under the first line I made with the fast feeds, but enough room for me to knock out THAT line with the masters fade blade closed. Then i proceed with the same routine i would a bald fade. Hope that helps!

Yo I do my fades backwards like if they get a 3/8 on top I'll work my way down. Like to a1/4 to 1/8 and so forth is that still coo or will it come out cleaner if I do it the wAy you do? I do alot of low fades with andis master clippers with closed clip on sides?

@Cuttown Well at first i work my way from the bottom going up. When i get to the 1/16 open, then I start to work my way from the top and meet at the 1/16 and knock the final line out with the 1/8. But if you bald out with the liners then work your way from the top down that sounds extremely difficult! If that's what you've been doing I'd like to see a some pictures of your fades. @24lakerfam the only thing different when doing a low bald fade is starting that first line with the liners lower than you would a high bald fade. I wish i did that with Carlo's hair in the video cause it actually looks better. Just make sure when you do your steps to stretch out the levels since you have more room to work with. In a sense it's somewhat easier to start you fade lower (depending on the head of course) because you have more room to blend out the lines in each step.

@vacfalle yeah the 1/8 guard is usually my last step. You'll have to mess with the levels and use you touch to get that last line out. OR after the 1/16 open step you can then make another line with the 1/8 open fade that line out then work your way back down from whatever # the top is. What if you use a 4 on top With a bald fade.? Do you blend out with a #3? or still a #2 (1/4) On the Top sides i mean.

@syidewayz A #4 with most ppl would be either a !/2 closed or a 3/8 open. With a 1/2 closed, move down to a 3/8 open, then to a 3/8 closed. Proceed with a 1/4 open, then close it. The last step is blending that last line with the 1/8 guard which is the trickiest part. Hope this helps. Remember this isn't the only way just the way that works best for me. If you figure out something better make sure to shed some light!
