  • I wish I was Sissys' mandolin <3

  • Horrifying.

  • Anybody know why "When You're Next To Me," the best song in the film, wasn't included in the "concert" on the DVD? Makes no sense at all.

  • "..and the records would teeter crazily on the spindle until you punched the hole in the middle of it"...wonder how they ever got through their lines for one good 'take'. ( and for those of you Parker Posey fans, she's an absolute goddess in 'Fay Grimm' )

  • @oldfmfcorpman You do realize that a lot of the lines in this movie are all improv right? Most of the actors come from Second City improv in Canada...

  • young people are going to miss the 24-karat satire of the Folk era.....right down to the nonsense lyrics..."Potato's in the Paddy Wagon?"

  • I love neuftets!

  • I've seen this movie 5 times. I love it. this song... what the hell?!? hahahahah

  • Better than 99% of the "serious" songs on the radio.

  • RULES.

  • This is such a fun song. It's the kind of song that can just get you out of a bad mood real quick.

  • HI-larious choreography!

  • FABULOUS

  • I LOVE THIS SONG!!!!!

  • parker posey is so fucking thin

  • On the DVD, you can watch "the concert" as it was "shown on public television". And Parker Posey is very beautiful in this vid.

  • @burr1aj I have to get the DVD just for that amazingness! Hopefully I can find it tomorrow!

  • This almost looks like it could have legitimately been on television. It doesn't quite look like movie quality film, but more like something that you would see on a televised concert.

  • Love this....

  • Just watched this again and forgot how much I loved it. "TOP NOTCH!"

  • Parker Posey ftw

  • i wanna get the "do what the good book tells you to" song. that song is focking HILARIOUS. his voice always has this hint of silliness to it.

  • @MariaAdelina double-u[dot]youtube[dot]com/watch?v=7wXiGf3R6UE&feature=related

  • I love this movie! reminds me of when i first saw it and my roommate and i would quote lines from it for months afterward, if I ever see him again I'll have to relive a mighty wind moment with a line for him

  • does anyone know who the upright bass/ chello player int he back is? i just cant find his name on line or in the credits

  • @alskling99 according to the soundtrack, the upright bass player is steve pandis

  • Oh. My. God. HOW do they do it without going mad? I LOVE THIS! The fact that I sang with "Junior Up With People" at age 12 (no shit) makes it even more hysterical for me...

  • oh my this is brilliant. great movie

  • hahaha 1 of my fav movies!!!! i love the part that the guys like Hey Wha Happened? lol also i LOVE the part: lets all raise our glasses and hum *humming* and then that lady goes ahhhhhhhhhhhhh in stead of hmmmmmmmm! lolololololol.

  • I love this movie instead of making fun of folk music i think they pain incredilbe homage to all the amazing folk artists that are and have been around. They made it funny without being crude or ignorant and not alot of movies can turn out this awesome without high school drama or dirty jokes IMO- Loved it- ive watched it ten times- Mitch n Mickey at the end was so sad and sweet at the same time....

  • mighty wind is hilarious every scene is insane

  • DSL chick. oh yeah. love them piggytails.

  • I'm looking for/waiting for my favorite song: "It's Just That Kind Of Day"; can't find it on Youtube

  • ...awesome!...all guest's movies are freaking hilarious...

  • JANE LYNCH <33

  • @stephlem89 A Witch In Natures Colours..... ;-)

  • This is the best movie these guys have made yet. Thanks for posting.
