  • Thank you , Deepak ,

  • great! so good!

  • His book, The 7 Spiritual LAws of Success has changed my life. Thanks Deepak...

  • I am such a big fan of his !!! he is absolutely fantastic.

  • The video parts are just every where--probably because of how YouTube accepted the uploads.

  • If people want to know about meditation then check out True Meditation by Adyashanti. Get the book combined with cd. The cd has guided meditations. He explains very clearly why traditional concentration style meditation doesn't lead to self-realization.

  • ChannelHugherSelf, mindfulness of the breath and watching the breath is what many Indian teachers and masters have been doing for centuries. In fact, the 2 major meditations that the Buddha taught ( sitting meditation, and walking meditation ) deal with the watching of some object whether it be the breath or the feet touching the ground or even the watching of other bodily functions , such as pain.

  • Seeing that Deepak is obviously pulling his knowledge from India, one can see that the "Doing nothing" method and the mindfulness and concentration method were both around and considered to be meditation. You can pick whichever you like best, but they are both equally good meditation methods.

  • Very few schools of spirituality actually teach meditation. Most teach concentration techniques. That is in part why most students never reach Self-realization. They are too busy focusing on external objects (breath, mantra, chakras, etc) and not experiencing the Self.

When a student experiences the Self, a realization arises that external objects do not matter. And that inherent in the Self exists True Love, Divine Love.

  • Why does Deepak now stray away from meditation into a technique of concentration?

Concentrating on the breath and willfully speaking in our minds is not meditation. Not doing nothing.

This is an error that many teachers make.

  • No full lotus, yogi Deepak? :o) j/k

Thank you for your service to humanity. We love you and are very appreciative.

  • thank you very much
