  • never mind I found a website sweet there legal but even if they weren't I still buy it only reason why I won't get a radar jammer is because so many people say they don't work, but the laser sounds better than the jammer one anyway I will go ahead buy the ZR4 from audio wave

  • @IINIGHTGODII Laser jammer and a newer Escort/Beltronics radar detector like the Redline would be a pretty boss set-up. I am a V1 fan but my next car will have BEL STi-R as well w/my V1

  • @IINIGHTGODII go to wwwguysoflidarcom the have the most up to date legal information on laser jammers with the statute even listed

  • @robm425 ok then thank you

  • Are the laser jammer/shifter your talking about by the way legal in the State of Mississippi?

  • @IINIGHTGODII They are legal to own and operate in Mississippi. But they are illegal in TN so if you are driving to TN beware.

Additionally when you get your shifter. Let it jam as your slow down to the speed limit and then flip the jammer off to let the cop get a speed reading on you at the speed limit. That why he won't know you have a jammer

  • I'm plan on buying a Laser Shifter ZR4 for my escort radar from audio wave far as I know this a laser defense one.but anyway how will police know wether or not you have a radar jammer far as I know they all have on and off switches in the car as soon as you one couldn't you just press the off button and they wouldnt know who haves it.

  • @IINIGHTGODII There are no actual radar jammers that work on the market. The stuff sold by Rocky Mountain Radar does NOT work and this has been proven by many investigative reporters.

  • @IINIGHTGODII So ignore radar jammer's. I would buy a Blinder M27 over the Escort ZR4 as the escorts laser jamming ability is pretty low. I currently use Laser Interceptor.

  • I would rather pay hundreds of dollars on a Radar jammer than on a police ticket I don't own a radar jammer I own a 2005 Escort x50 Passport 8500 but to me it seems like it be 100 Percent worh it to have a radar jammer instead.I got a 2005 Mitsubishi eclipse GT and 2006 Pontiac GTO and I love to speed in fast cars so speeding is a habit for me

  • @IINIGHTGODII There are NO radar jammers that work!!!!! They are also a felony offense to use! Your best set-up involves a radar detector and laser jammer/shifter. Radar Jammers are illegal and don't work. Laser jammers at only illegal in 10 states

  • Nice s70 man! My friend just got me into this and I got a Beltronics STi-R. I have a 2006 S60R and currently have a hole cut out of my grille for the antenna. I got my first Ka warning from a cop that was across campus on the same road which is on a hill so I couldn't even see him for at least 45 seconds. It was coming in strong too!

  • Great video.

  • but if the cops laser is jammed wont they get suspicious and pull you over and check to see if you have a jammer?

  • @label1177 They could but most will have no clue they are being jammed as the proper way to operate the jammer is Slow down immediately once the jammer alerts and when you are at the posted speed limit turn the jammer off to let the officer get a speed reading on your vehicle.

  • m8 u need petrol

  • K so I just started looking into these things. So correct me if Im wrong. Radar jammers dont work, laser jammers do. I understand if you have a laser jammer, your good from cops. But, what happens if the cop is using a radar gun? Are you pretty much screwed?

  • If a cop has a radar gun I am screwed, I have a radar detector to try and protect me alittle from the radar guns.

But radar now having the ability to be turned on and off for 1-3seconds only when they see a speeding car so you are screwed. I usually let a car speed in front of me so they get shot with radar and then I can slow down

  • @robm425 haha the fall guy thats my classic move.

  • @robm425 You have a V1. Its a great detector. There IS a way to detect instant on radar. There must be a car or two in front. The V1 will pick up a weak signal and then lose it. It might do this again with another car. If it does, get legal immediately. As soon as it suddenly goes full alert you're screwed if your over the limit. The weak alerts are actually scatter from the beam that is on the cars in front. The radar beam is wide and much easier to pick up scatter than a laser beam.

  • @ElectronicsRepair582 I know the trick to instant-on radar but there are people with radar detectors which like to lead the pack at elevated speed. What about for when you can't find a rabbit? The NY Troopers are highly trainned in visual estimation its rare they bother to even turn their radar on unless a person is going over 80.

Instant-on is instant death as for how i drive rabbits are a rare thing to me

  • @robm425 I dont live in NY so I must conclude that as true. However in most other states the troopers are trained in visual estimation. Most of the time they either choose/must use radar to confirm the speed. I see what you mean by rarely using radar though.

  • Hey man i got fucked doing 93 in a 55 two days ago i wish i had that radar detector =( i have to get an attorney now and get it reduced.

  • How much was the ticket for

  • $615 and it was reduced to 60 in a 55

  • lol wow you got lucky $600 a lot for a ticket but yea nice setup.

  • @spooks916 Yea my lawyer saved me I was gonna lose my license

  • those lights flash to much. that would probably draw a cops attention. its still cool though

  • You can only see those lights in night vision mode on a camera. They aren't visible when they are flashing to the naked eye. IR light is invisible to the naked eye as it is in a spectrum our eyes can't see

  • ohhh thats good all i want is a V1

  • V1 is a good place to start but remember that the V1 will not save you from laser encounters. Still the majority I run into personally is radar

  • yea I just need something to give me a heads up. so i can hit the brakes and keep changing lanes

  • once your detector alerts laser though, you are toast it takes a 1 second to acquire your speed with a laser gun

  • Is it really that loud and annoying that you can hear it from outside your car??

  • The constant tone yes its very loud with all the windows down and sunroof open

The alternating sound was my radar/laser detector.

  • quick ques rob...did u install it urself?? or had it professionally installed? if u did it urself...any chance of makin a vid walking us non-tech ppl thru the process??

  • I had it professionally installed as that was requirement as per being able to be able to get the no-ticket guarantee. I ended up having to move the jammer heads as the installer did not install them correctly

  • Are the heads visable to the naked eye, especially at night? I do alot of high speed cruising but a speeding ticket is only 1/5th as bad as a jammer in my state.

  • No they aren't visible that they are firing . You can only see the heads firing in this video cause I turned on the Night Shot mode on my Sony camera which picked up InfraRed light. IR light is not visible to the naked eye

  • COOL can u show me how to do these things ? thx

  • Go Volvo!

  • What are you using to test your detector with the laser alert?

  • did you watch the video?

  • yeah, but when you showed the remote, it was setting off radar alerts...not laser...I didn't know that could do laser too.

  • Techno; NICE

  • robm425 you are my hero! You shut that uneducated worthless pig up!

  • I love the Valentine One, mine was stolen. I e-mailed Valentine One years ago when their laser detection wasn't that good. I am the one who told them to use a 'FISH EYE LENS' for better "off axis" laser detection. They gave me no credit or response, but it now contains a fish eye lens, rather then just photo diodes in an array. The Valentine One is the most sensitive in laser detection, but it's best used with a reputable laser jammer as well.

  • I really like your videos, man. What's your opinion of the blinder m20?...Has it ever let you down? and is there any difference in performance between the m20 and the m25? Thanks!

  • I am personally not a fan of the Blinder M20/M25/M40/M45...But My blinder M20 has never let me down until it broke and I switched to a different laser jammer company which has alot better jamming performance

  • what do you use now?

  • Laser Interceptor Quad...2heads up front and 2 heads in the rear

  • so wont the cops get suspisious when they c that the laser wont scan through your car but it will for others? wont they stop you? and what if the radar goes on when the cop pulls you over and is next to your window?

  • Many car speed readings are hard to obtain even w/o having a jammer.I use my laser jammer to slow to the posted speed limit then I turn off jammer so they can get a speed reading on my vehicle. Also my current laser jammer acts as a parking sensor if i am over pulled over for it. But I have seen plenty of other people completely jam the officer and not get pulled. As for if I get pulled over I have kill switches for all my equipment so the radar detector won't alert if he is still running radar

  • Oh so you have it all figured out huh? Any punk using these illegal devices will be fined to the utmost extent of the law and the device confiscated. You WILL be issued a ticket based on your estimated speed. We have already confiscated several of these devices and will continue to do so. For all you punks that think your funny it's only a matter of time before a FEDERAL BAN is put in place as both myself and our entire outfit have been COMPLAINING NON-STOP.

  • You are stupid! Laser Jammers are perfectly legal in the states that I travel and there is no Federal Rule on jamming laser as it is controlled by the FDA. The FCC does have a federal ban on radar jammers which I don't have and they hardly even work. Please "Mr. I think I am a Cop" come try to tell me lies about police counter measures. As I use to work for a cop who sold counter measures I know the law very well. I am also studying for a law degree..Wannabe pig. Please study the law

  • To further educate you cop on the law that you don't know. Laser jammers ARE illegal in these 10 states: CA, UT, CO, OK, MN, IL, TN, VA, SC, and Washington DC.

Radar detectors are only illegal in Virginia and Washington DC.

Funny every time a new laser gun comes out the jammer company always can get their hands on it before most police departments.

  • Jamming laser is perfectly legal if you're in a state I didn't list above. You cannot even sieze any of my equipment on my car as it interferes with interstate commerce which is extremely illegal by the constitution. You can try and impound my vehicle but as long as I don't have a RADAR jammer you can not touch it BOY. Try it please I dare you. Even in states where Radar detectors are illeagl they can not be seized just the serial number recorded. Good friends with a VA Cop told me the procedure

  • Don't try to give me lectures. The constitution only covers "unreasonable search and seizure". Keyword unreasonable. You ain't transporting this for commerce. We already know these are on the OUTSIDE of the car. According to the plain site rule 1) if I see it and 2) if it's illegal = search/seizure. And I PROMISE you I can tow your car and have it removed. We have already done it to a few of em. Sure you might get it back. After you pay tickets, fees, tow, storage and waste lotsa time at court!

  • Article 1, Section 8, Clause 3....That is where the commerce clause is and with that law and sight past cases from the supreme court I can establish that you were trying to make an unconstitutional arrest. As long as my car is not registered in a state where laser jammers are illegal you can do nothing. Except take down the seriel number of the jammer

I thought you were suppose to know the constitution as a cop...Apparently not

  • What make you think that you will know I am jamming you? What makes you think that my jammer actually will jam your gun? If you are worried about laser jammers just use smart instant-on radar as there is no defense against instant-on radar....You are just angry cause you job is being eliminated by speed camera's as they are more effective at slowing people down. Also the can write more tickets than you ever can

  • Again we KNOW when we are being jammed and when we ain't. It's not hard to figure out! Sure we get OCCASIONAL error codes and its allot tougher if they slow down and cut it off. But guess what smart ass? THAT AINT WHAT 90% OF THEM DO. They jam all the way up to the gun cause they think it's funny and half the time they got a smile on there face. It ain't hard to figure out!!!

  • the majority jammer users turn off the jammers after theyt slow down. I know a majority of them cause of my relations in the industry

  • Again jamming the police and interfering with police enforcing the law ain't got nothin to do with commerce! I ain't taken the serial number. Understand? I'm confiscating your jammer. Understand the difference? Goodness and your supposed to be in college?

  • So how am I interfearing if you can still get my speed reading? Oh wait I am not and by jamming laser you are not interfering with an officer's duties! Simply because there are other ways to obtain the speed. I love egotistical cops like you. What department do you work for? Houston PD? Well my sources at HPD is they care less about jammers and more about radio scanners. ALSO I always turn my jammer off after I slow down, and my jammer heads pop back into my bumper so they aren't visible.

  • wow, for an officer of law you sound a bit cocky , no offense though. I just figured you would come to inform instead of BOLDING, and wielding your Executive power around. Officers like you need to calm down a bit.

  • He is part of the reason i always have a video camera and audio recorder with me in my car. I have seen what happens to these cocky cops when they are caught on video tape. It doesn't look good for them

  • Yea, I'm going to start using my video camera in the car now. Can't afford to run into a officer like that.

  • You ain't no cop quit pranking, you're funny though LOL..

  • ok so, figured this would be the best video to ask, in your opinion, if i needed a detector and possibly a jammer, should I go with the valentine 1 and the blinder m25?

  • valentine is the best radar on the market, there shouldn't be any debate over the detector, but as for the laser jammers, Blindler Xtremes are the best, id say to go with the m45 because it has 4 jammers instead of just 2. You'll get more coverage. Its a little bit more expensive, but still a lot less than a ticket. Ohh, and never buy radar jammers because they don't work. You're better off making them they're not to hard to make.

  • Wow the Blinder product performance is no where near that of the the newer Diode jammers. I run a 4 head Laser Interceptor with no problems and not a gun can get a speed reading on my front or back. Video's to prove it are in my favorite section...In my testing of the Blinder products I have always had punchthroughs never any jam tos gun

  • who did you say made the device that you used to set off the detecter and jammer? what is the model name? i want to get one to test some detecters

  • Target RT Radar detector tester

  • where did you get it and what website/store sells them so i can get one. im needing to do test on some radar detectors. thanks

  • don't know...you best bet to to get a laser activator at radarbusters and buy a cheap bushnell radar gun online

  • i had looked at the bushnell gun. what band does it run on?

  • k-band

  • so im confused when your driving and the police point their laser gun at your car...the laser jammer will blink like that in your video....??? how much was it? i would buy one but i dont know if its worth it because i live in california and i guess its a felony if you get caught...so yea

  • Well the laser jammer with alert with a red LED and the buzzer with sound. I slow down to the PSL and let the officer get your speed when you slow down...Laser jammers are illegal in CA though I personally would go with a good detector before a jammer since I run into radar far more than laser

  • In nightshot mode it allows you to see IR lights. You can't actually see them with your eyes.

  • Where can I find that Laser and radar activater?

  • I got it from a company in europe as a gift

  • lol, "blinder, radar, techno, and I am ready for the road" well said

  • what do you think of the veil paint for the license plates and headlights? is it worth it? apparently it can make you invisible to laser up to 600ft.

  • Doesn't work!!!!! I would never use VEIL. For real laser ptrotection you need a laser jammer

  • thanks for the heads up, i appreciate it. just got my V1 on friday. time to save up for the jammer now!

  • i thought you had like multiple jammers besides the blinder? no offence or anything but why did you choose to get the blinder? they're like the same price or just a little under the price of the laser didode jamemrs

  • I do have multiple jammers but this video is a bit dated...Reason I went with the Blinder M20 was it was the most realiable jammer available when i bought it...The laser diode jamemrs at the time were breaking frequently

  • Too bad that I live in Germany....they are totally illegal here....and they also won´t work cause european radars/lasers use another technology...your`re speeding with a Volvo....?

  • dam that sucks dude its only illegal in sum states here in the US

  • HAHA...but we have the Autobahn....some parts of our Highways have no speed limits.....so you just know....Germany knows best fuck the rest XD

  • They work ok? I'm thinking about buying em. Its funny I was just wondering today if the blinders would show up on nightshot. Smart of u. useful vid. thx

  • Late in 1997, the FCC also ruled that so-called passive-reflector type "radar scramblers" are also illegal to operate whether they are effective or not (they're not) because the FCC considers any attempt as "malicious interference" and as such can not be licensed by the FCC ...

  • Unlike police laser (at least in most states), police RADAR can not be legally jammed, in fact, any attempt to do so (whether one is successful or not, most active jammers are not) is a federal offence and violates FCC regulations.

  • Hmmmmm....Like a radar detector and laser jammer tester as myself wouldn't know that. Radio is a radiowave and govern'd by FCC laser is light controlled by FDA

  • But....why would you want lights going off indicating your jamming their signal? Seems like a dead give away to get pulled over...

  • I agree. I don't want those lights going off. Is this an Anti-Laser?

  • The lights you see going off are only visible with an Infrared camera. they are not visible to the normal eye. The jammers transmit infrared light which your eyes can't see. I was running the camera in night shot of infrared mode to show you the jammers.

    This is a Blinder M20

  • The lights you see going off are only visible with an Infrared camera. they are not visible to the normal eye. The jammers transmit infrared light which your eyes can't see. I was running the camera in night shot of infrared mode to show you the jammers

  • Did I see a sign in the background saying" Pain by Blinder"? LOL..nice video Rob. Atleast they are not the Blinder Xtreme M25 or M45 because we all know the are crap.

  • how are they crap? just wondering cause im thinking of getting 1

  • Good video man. Nicely done.

  • This was an awesome video. I think I'm gonna get a jammer now :)
