Camoflage, The move so slowly that algea grows on them and they blend in with trees because also because of just how slowly they move.

@everythingsreal they stay in trees :) they have no real predators, only when they move to the ground which isn't too common!
They can inflict terrible wounds with their giant claws.

Yeah but they are way too chill to do that.
A human could probably hurt a sloth a hell of a lot more than they could hurt them.
But its better to chill and be buddies :)
