I'm Iraqi and atheist but I don't think the US did a good job so far.
Don't get me wrong. I was totally behind the war in the beginning. I think the intention was noble but it was completely botched up.
You got rid of Saddam which believe me is something at least 80% of Iraqis appreciate and are thankful for.
But also the US invasion brought in Al Qaida from OUTSIDE. Before we didn't have those lunatics here. Now we do. Thanks to the interim American administration from 2003-2005.
@omniscient232 mostly, they're bombing their own people. The crazy fanatical muslims follow orders from God through "prophets". There is no logical reason to kill so many to prevent democracy
Wow, the 'crazy, fanatcal muslims' are like the crazy fanatical religious right in America: they hate anyone who doesn't agree with them. Has Fox news heard about this new market for their special brand of 'truth'?
Maybe they are resentful because the United States is occupying their country.... I don't know just a wild guess.
