Bleh, they never would pass a real public option, the health insurance industry is terrified of it, it would slaughter their ability to rape everyone with constant rate hikes lest they simply chose the government plan.

That scares both the marionettes on the senate carefully controlled by that industry, as well as those fiscally concerned that this non existent product is a HUGE chunk of the American economy.

Really, only far left ideas seem to have any new products to sell in America.
