  • i whatched a documentry about anzacs a british officer was comanding a battalion of anzacs that officer said he couldnt surender or his troops would of killed him

  • Hey cunt at least we have the balls to go out and fight any one who says bad things about the army is cowering beacuse they dont have the balls to fight.

  • Let's not forget that NZ is in ANZAC as well, and do not forget the thousands of New Zealand men and women who sacrificed their lives in the cause of freedom

  • @GayAussieDigger Mkay..

  • @Antifaith29 haha, i think that guy may have some problems

  • Great video mate.

  • @tanksta0wns :) thats all i have to say

  • To the Aussie's: Thank You for Your support. My country needs 'a kick in the ass!' Pearl Harbor, The Gulf of Tonkin and The Twin Towers, were NOT ENOUGH, of an EYE OPENER. I admire your efforts to keep freedom alive in your country. You have fought the fight to keep the Japs out of your country, while ours, let them roam amoungst U.S. I tell you, If I could afford it, I would like very much to travel to your country for a 'walk about'. Peace be to you, Mate.

  • @Jcliveshere You won that battle. We won the war.

  • Nicely done. always amazes me the crowds getting bigger every year at the dawn parades. The ANZAC spirit seems to get stronger year by year.

    All the best from NZ

  • I one day hope to serve the brotherly country for king and for country

  • WOW IM SICK OF FUCKEN SLIDE SHOWS

  • i signed up for the Royal Australian Army and the reason why our strategies are different is because we still practice the old ways. We may have machine guns and tanks but we are still practicing with close quarters and a bayonet. We all still share the ANZAC spirit no matter the generation and i am honored to part of the ANZAC spirit

  • my great grandfather flew a bomber in WW2

  • I miss my grandfather who couldn't make it home...Captain Stahl KIA WW2

  • @alliejay100 RIP brother

  • ETERNAL RESPECT TO ALL DIGGERS WHO FOUGHT AND DIED BOTH PAST AND PRESENT ...LONG LIVE TEH ANZAC SPIRIT AUSSIES DONT BE AFRAID TO WAVE THE AUSTRALIAN FLAFG WAVE IT PROUDLY..YOUR GREEK BROTHERS ARE WITH YOU WE THANK YOU FOR FIGHTING THE GERMANS IN GREECE AND CRETE WE FOUGHT AND DIED LIKE BROTHERS ...NEVER FORGET THE SACRIFICES MATES NEVER FORGET!! GREECE AUSTRALAI FRIENDSHIP :)

  • @ellasAPOEL36

Thanks mate. :) I'm also Greek and recently got accepted in the Royal Australian Army. Enlist in June. I wish we worked more with Greece nowdays though, my uncle is in the Greek Navy and I have many cousins and relitives there.

  • @YourRETARDEDchild Hah, you were probably at pooka with a mate of mine. Hope alls well and you got through ok.

  • @YourRETARDEDchild no such thing as the "Royal Australian Army"

  • @S70A9techo As if a pogue would care LOL.

  • @wardawk it's spelt POGO you dumb ex grunt has been, now back to the form guide and counting your TPI cash you go.

  • @S70A9techo WRONG. Its POGO as in Posted On Garrison Orders(Operations some say), but we say pogue same as we say Quee or vuee tuee, right. LOL, you have servedlong at all have you LID or are you a JUBY now? Am back in Townsville soon if you want to chat, have many mates in 5 Avn, maybe you are one?

  • @ellasAPOEL36 sorry to reply so late to your comment posted a year ago but you thanked australia for fighting alongside their greek brothers at crete and greece with no mention of new zealand whos casualties at crete were by far worse than australias out of 6,700 new zealnd troops at crete 671 KIA 967 WIA compared to 7,100 aussie troops at crete 274 KIA 507 WIA ANZAC means australia new zealand army corps NOT just australia

  • this is more a video tribute to our diggers not our ANZAC's

Australian and New Zealand Army Corps.

A lot of people dont actually understand what ANZAC means or statnds for, and what it was to be a Digger of the ANZAC.

  • Personally it pisses me off, all this anti Aussie bullshit or Poor Little Kiwi cousin attitude. At the end of the day an Aussie or Kiwi joins there respective Defence Force and serves there country. We share history and thats great. ANZAC Cove, Sinai/Palestine, Western Front, Greece/Crete, Relief of Tobruk, Korea, Vietnam, East Timor. Im sure our shared Mateship will draw us together in future conflicts and we'll continue in the spirit of the original ANZAC's like we always have.

  • great vid thx for uploading god bless the ancient and modern anzacs!! long live australia god bless

  • Hey @punakesha the Aussie is right m8. You're a moaning little prick. Shut up or put up. If you want your own little you-tube tribute to the NZ part of ANZAC then join up, do the hard yards and film your own experience. Personally who cares? There aren't any original ANZACs left living, the rest of us only live or serve in there shadow. An ANZAC is one who served on the peninsular between 25 april - 20th Dec 1915 Australian and New Zealander!

  • @ozzyguy67 WOW im a dumb ignorant kiwi cause i didnt read the info LMAO relax mate and get some anger management treatment, anyway i dont see the point in 2 separate tributes the anzacs are the anzacs did our grandfathers not fight and die togeather?so they should be honored and remembered togeather, just a thought.

  • @ozzyguy67 no need to get tough over your computer mate, kill myself?why cause i asked where are the kiwis LMAO did it occur to you that i might not have known their were 2 different tributes or are you just a young dumb twat that gets teased at school then comes home to be tough on the internet

  • Thanks for this video mate.

  • where were the Kiwis? you do know that the NZ in ANZAC stands for New Zealand dont you LOL bloody Aussies made this tribute for sure.

  • @punakesha Frankly my NZ mate, the dummest guy in the world is one who risks death out of imagined mateship with Australians. They only mates they have are themselves, and the people they want to suck up to, like Uncle Sam. In the end our kiwi brothers did such great deeds and sacrificed themeslves for their own honour alone, and God Bless them for their outsanding valour in both great wars.

  • I am not one for crying, it just doesn't happen but there are two days that I am guaranteed to do so; ANZAC Day and Rememberance Day. I never get through the minute of silence without tears cascading.

You have evoked such raw emotions in me that I've not felt in a long time. It reminds us of the lives lost in service right up to this very day when an NZAF helicopter went down killing all 4 crewmen on its way to ANZAC Day commemorations in NZ.

My heart goes out to their families

    Lest We Forget.

  • To all the men and woman of anzac past and present . Thanks for the hard work that you do for our freedom. Respect and Salute to you all. I won't forget.

  • Nice video but theres no kiwis in there so its not an ANZAC video is it??

  • Hi

    Nice Video, well done

Would be good to see some Kiwi images included to make it a true ANZAC video

    Cheers

  • ANZACS's...are there any new zealanders in this video?

  • if I were PM, i d sack all of them gay generals and cut the military budget right down to zero

  • Great tribute. 5* the music really fit too.

  • lol americans are like ahdur aussies a like DIE!! GOOD TRIBUE AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE OI OI OI

    AUSSIE AUSSIE AUSSIE

  • OY OY OY!

  • Great tribute! But it does make you feel, why we bother sending our troops. You have countries that cry for help, and when you get there, the same people kick you in face. It happens all the time.

If a population is not strong enough to standup and take control of itself once help arrives, then clearly they are weak or perhaps cowards and don't deserve freedom.

War does give you a cold prospective on life...

  • its better to try and help than to stand by and watch a country crumble

  • I agree. But never forget, once there. The meter is running with the lives of our troops. You must have the support of the majority of locals. Without that, history shows, you will not succeed.

  • good video

thats probably the best tribute to the ANZAC's i have ever seen.

  • the best picture to describe an aussie is at 1.27.

  • Congratulations, lovely video and music, from an old Aust soldier who served alongside Kiwis, Yanks and Brits - all good fellows who stick by you. All democracies too and there are not many of those on this Earth of ours. Those three nations ahve been our friends through thick and thin. Like real family we can have our differences, but remain close. Thanks again.

  • the japs thort wen the us come to kakoda that they could tell that the us was not as good at gorilla fighting then the australians were ,its on nat geo kakoda i watched it and heard it from the japenese who were fighting there aswell

  • Translation to English: "The Japanese thought when the US came to Kokoda , that they were not as good at guerilla fighting as the Australians were. This was stated on National Geographic 'Kokoda'. I watched it and heard it from the Japanese who were fighting there as well."

My response: The US have a totally different Army structure to Australia. They use slightly different tactics due to their different weapons and assets. Australians have a rifleman's culture as a consequence of this.

  • I have no idea never served (i cant no spleen) but my great uncle fout in PNG. what he says is the japanes fought well b ut stupid. just listened to orders (by the way i now live in japan and alot dont even know they attacked australia). He says they were all young man doing what they had too. respect to the aussies who fought a much better trained force but who at the end well...

  • @hongimaster and as a result of our rifleman culture we dont walk down the middle of the road like the yanks did during veitnam we were the one that were in the jungle of to the side of the road

  • @johnnybongpuller - Can you re-write your comment in correct English please ? The use of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling would be most appreciated !

thort ? kakoda ? gorilla ? 'there' does not = 'their' in this context. Is the World full of imbeciles these days !??

  • @johnnybongpuller Rather the Australians ran like rabbits according to Blamey.......

  • ANZACS are what real heroes are.

  • INCREDIBLEEEEE great video mate thank you

  • thank you bro, good bless take care mate

  • Thanks for a great tribute Hongi, would have been even better with some pics of the many Kiwis that fought and died alongside our Australian brothers. The ANZACs legend is shared equally between both countries. 2/1 RNZIR

  • Great vid love it , to those who want to mock Aussies anywhere get over it we didnt need to be in WW1 or WW2 at the start but is what we Aussies are all about someone needs our help we are there and as hongi said its not political its a tribute to all ANZACS from the boer war till present day and if you dont like it or want to disrespect it dont do it here

  • technically ANZACs began in WW1 in the boer war the troops fought as units from there states i.e. NSW, QLD etc

  • NICE VID

  • thats a really good vid especially because i no alot of the troops left ther because im related to the co of the biggest navy base in aus all i can say is that the troops ther r happy that thers someone making sure they rnt forgotten

  • LOL so Jorda171 is a war hero officer in the sand? But the thick cunt cannot even spell, LOL. It takes 18 months minimum to march out of Duntroon then they would not send a LID officer over there.

    U are a faggot retard poo-pusher Jorda u fucktard.

  • god bless u aussies!

  • Those heroes that shed their blood And lost their lives... You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore, rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side, Here in this country of ours.

You, the mothers, who sent their sons from far away countries...

Wipe away your tears. Your sons are now lying in our bosom And are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land, they have

    Become our sons as well.

  • i cant belive that the australian goverment has not awarded medals to the fuzzy wuzzys as they were called with out them we would of not won at kokoda

  • i aggree intierly

i was actually thinking about that when i was watching kakoda wat a great movie

  • im a LT over in iraq we should blees us soldier ive had to watch people get blown up by terrots ive seen it happen to kids witch should never thank all the people that respect us soldiers over in iraq or as we call it a bag of shit so lets bow our heads to them lest we forget

  • Lt ey in iraq? so your one of the few Aussies left there are you?

    Lt straight out of duntroon?

Profile says your 17? How did you get deployed at 17 when aussie deployment age is 18.

    Cheers mate. Alec.

  • your a fake

  • Speaking as a Brit, the ANZACS never once failed to help this tiny little Island out. My kids and I are here thanks to them, and the other allied troops from India etc. I say a heartfelt thank you.

  • thank you mate god bless

  • haha yeah u therecause ur generals lied to us and sent ALL our troops to come to your aid when australia was ready to be invaded nothing personal but some brits are stuck up assholes no offence m8

but ive lost 13 ppl from my family thanks to your generals

  • got to respect the anzacs fighting in Americas and britains war when they ditched us at kokoda

  • go the fuzzy wuzzy angels

  • In wars that were never your's you never failed to help Thank you.

  • thankyou for putting this together it is good to see that people do appreciate what we do and it means alot to me as i am a returned servicemen from iraq 06-07.

  • wicked vid, tho where are the kiwis, "anzac" australia and 'new zealand' army corps

  • without the anzacs we wouldnt be here to winge about how bad our lives are...we owe everything to our for fathers and grand parents for giving us the chance to be here and have a happy life....GOD BLESS THE ANZACS.....LEST WE EVER FORGET....

    im a proud aussie

  • Lest We Forget

  • that was fucking awsome mate good work....minus the kovco part he didnt realy deserve his picture up there with the other digs.

  • Still a digger. All of them deserve our respect, no matter how small a role they play.

  • y???

  • because he isnt a hero he couldnt hack it so he killed him self.

  • how do you know it wasent an accident?

  • i would hate to be in the force's with kevin rudd as leader too. but if the shit hit's i think kevin would piss him self.

  • I don't think Big Kev would have too much of an effect on the military anyway. He's withdrawing from Iraq but increasing in Afghanistan. The only thing might be that he withdraws Australia all together and follows America into their next war.

  • mate i dont think rudds as close to america as howard was

  • hell no rudds an bloody idiot

  • mate rudd is way better than howard, howard just kissed americas ass when ever they wanted him to

  • and this is different to Rudd kissing China's ass? If i wanted this video to be a political debate, I would have made a political video. So take it elsewhere, your opinions are not valid here.

  • YES!.....great vid man

  • @UnrealAussie1 your adickhead m8 keep paying tax's fuckwit

  • Hey Guys, come check my tribute to the 2/14 light horse in the Australian Army, tell me how it is, i need feed back lol thx

  • hongimaster: great work mate, keep it up (altho perhaps it would've been nice to see more action shots and less posed ones, but hey, beggars can't be choosers! :) ). For a future one, how about making an aggressive one with combat shots/clips done to something from ACDC, Spiderbait or another rock band? You know, something to get the blood pumpn.

  • littlelyttle: you really are a f'ckn wanker, posting as you have done TOTALLY unnecessarily offensive messages. If you attack people online, at least be bothered to make sure of your facts first - that way you won't look like an ignoramus.

  • my <3 goes out 2 all the past and present soliders thnx guys xx

  • chills down my spine... beautiful man just beautiful.... makes me proud to wear a slouch hat and march on ANZAC day.... Lest We Forget

  • Theres an American at 1:02 you can tell by the jelly bean CAMO you should be ashamed for that

  • Or... you could get a life? Seriously man, I have already addressed this in a previous comment.

  • what is there to be ashamed of? America has stood by our side as we have theirs in every conflict. I am Australian and proud, there is nothing to be ashamed of you idiot. Get a life wanker.

  • lest we forget

Aussie's and Kiwi's brothers in arms forever

  • Lest We Forget. Beautiful touching video. I hope to be accepted do what I can like the blokes in this vid. We must not forget those who have fallen or the those still fighting, not just for our defence, but for the defence of the countries they are fighting in

  • nah normal Australian Infantry.

  • my dad just did a tour of duty in Afghanistan, he saw 4 men get injured in the IED attack in october. this is his 2nd tour of duty, he has also done a tour with Jock wallace, read the book by jock wallace its good!@!!

  • Is ur dad SF?

  • ANZAC....I see a lot of tha 'A'in this great tribute but a lack of the 'NZ'...but still, a great tribute, thanks.

  • to ture, to true. can't have anzac without the nz

  • LEST WE FORGET im proud to join the army next year

  • ANZAC's get the job done

    Lest We Forget

  • wat is the name of this song??

ph and by the way, beat tribute mate

  • mad world by gary jules

  • The Americans get the glory and the press; the British get the honor and their pride

ANZC get the job done..... Lest We Forget

  • Lest We Forget

  • thank you rbl bristol

  • Least We forget.

Just one negative comment though, there is a distinct lack of New Zealand soldiers in this ANZAC remembrance video. Other than that very nice work.

  • i was very touched by this

  • "Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives..you are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and Mehmets to us where they lie side by side here in this country of ours.. You,the mothers, who sent their sons from faraway countries wipe away your tears; Your sons are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land they have become our sons as well." MUSTAFA KEMAL ATATURK

  • Lest we forget. Thanks for creating and posting!

  • Yer its a real shame the yanks take most of the glory. ANZACS never back down

  • the diggers rock

  • yanks take all the glory us brits get some press but everyone forgets about the contrabutions from the ozzies canadians keweis

  • very nicely done mate im proud to be an aussie and pround that my granpa's were ANZACS and they defended this beautifal country

  • Very well done. The ANZAC spirit is alive and well in our new genation of men & women who are placed in harms way.

  • Thanks for the Vid. Some great picture of some truly professional soldiers. I had the privilage to experience ANZAC day with the Aussie's and Kiwi's in 2005. Great diggers from an ex Brit Squady.

  • Great job our boyz had it hard Good job dig's.

  • that song would go great with some film footage, its a pity its hard to come by.

nice one bro, keep it up.

  • hey nice video mate, nice timing with the music. I was thinking of using that song for my videos but yeah, good choice mate.

  • Great video, did you slip in a pic of some US troops at the one minute mark though?

  • Thanks for the comment. Yeah, nice spotting, I was hoping noone would notice. It doesn't make the video any less of a tribute. It is surprisingly difficult to find a picture of an ANZAC crying, nevermind ANZACs in general. Anyway, Thanks again.

  • It was the amount of boots and up turned rifles that gave it away; I thought we have only lost three diggers in the middle east in over 4 years. then I looked a second time and realised they weren't wearing the jelly bean camo.

  • It's cause we don't cry, brother! Don't even bother looking.
