About the Wan Fu, it was a matter luck, as well as for An Sha. However, using Zhuge Liang to behead Chang Yu was easier sinceZhuge Liang has got more chances with the highest Intelligence points (255). Also, to get the others beheaded, using Zhao Yun, who is very intelligent too, was pretty easy, since those enemies had almost no intelligence at all. The only challenge in that fight was to avoid the Wan Fu by pressing the confirm button (A) at a time where it would change Si Ma Yi's attacks! ;)

I'd also noticed that pressing (A) might have had some effect on enemies' attacks, your luck with Tactics, etc., but for a while, Si Ma Yi would get really old by using Wan Fu constantly. It got so bad to the point where if I was playing around, he'd beat me All-Out 5 to 1. Tell me that's not bad. Heh. And my party is the same as yours, except using Huang Zhong in place of Zhuge Liang. I rely much on physical strength, for Tactics never do me much good, it seems.

My Tactician is usually Zhuge Liang, but at times I'll switch to Jiang Wei for a bit of variety. An Sha is fun, but I also like to pull out Bei Ji and kick some numbers out of some people. It's fun combined with some Power Pills. I don't like An Sha for boss battles, as it rarely ever works for me, so I just toughen up with Bei Ji to ensure I do some damage.

I know that INT affects the Strategist Top usable amount of Tactic Points (TP). It also increases his chances of success with his magic as well as his chances of blocking magic as well! ;)

Chi Tu Ma is hidden on the ground around the spot I walk on at 29-30 seconds in the video. Use the Check command to find it. It is 6 or 7 steps west from the little fortress. ;)

Darn, I never even got to finish this game.... when I was 10, I had the game, nearly finished... but the DAMN datterie inside the cartrige ran of... and I lost my game... It's funny when you think that at that age, I actually cried!! And conciering I'm french canadian, and I got throug a game like this IN ENGLISH, I'm proud of my self! I normally always kill Si Ma Yi first, because if you do, he doesn't heal himself to full no matter how low his hit points. Try it and you'll see.

yeah, that was pretty good. I'm really surprised he never bothered to use Wan Fu though to heal up. I always just ended up using Ce Mian instead of An Sha to beat them down so I could keep Zhu Ge as the tactian hehe. Freaking awesome game though!

Some people told me about giving it to the leader of the party. However, I didn't really see something special about it. I just got it to make it look good. Personally, it is an item we cannot drop and uses a precious space in my items list, so, I don't rely on it! ;)

chi tu ma, if that's what ur talking about lol makes the character holding it, hit first. it's good in a battle where you need the first hit in :P i use the ce mian ability cause i find that instead of chancing si ma yi wan fu'ing himself, or cheng yu an sha'ing u, is too much XD i lost the 2nd battle with only si ma yi left, cause he kept wan fu'ing at 20k XD i find with ce mian you have a better chance of living to celebrate. but that's just me ;D

That's what I used to think before I use the An Sha strategy. Using it, I can tell you that I cannot remember the last time I got owned by the last Si Ma Yi fight! We always have to remember that the last time we hit the "A" button just before the action begins again, it can change enemy's reaction and actions. It increases our chances against him! ;)

Sure, the Ce Mian Strategy is pretty good too. However, one of the reasons why I chose to do it with An Sha is because I didn't see anyone do it on YouTube until then... And, I prefer this strategy! It is much faster when we know how to do it. I remember, in the old times, trying to use the Ce Mian strategy, and this tactic didn't last for long very often. So, I just cancelled it in my mind. One of my brothers prefers the Ce Mian one. However, I am still convinced An Sha is better. Max TP 150 ;)

I used to get enough HP that eventually Zhao Yun eclipsed the rest of my party. I then went in with him equipped with the Halberd.. the rest of the guys had the iron ore swords. I'm actually listening to the soundtrack right now while playing another game. :) Zhao Yu was a bad ass in that game too, even though you never get him.. same with Pang De.

How to win: I beat the game at level 39, the lowest level possible. Zhuge Liang should be your tactician. Jiang Wei gets Chi Tu Ma (so he usually goes first.) Bei Ji everyone first round. Power Pill Si Ma Yi to death, Ce Mian when he's at about 15000 with Jiang Liang. If Ma Chao or Zhao Yun have the Halberd they'll be hitting for over 6000. Then kill Cheng Yu basically the same way. If at this point you need to heal have everyone cast Jin Xian. All Out against the 3 meatheads for the win.

However, I just started my last game because of the other video I saw about Si Ma Yi. The shorter the fight, the better it is. Sure, he could have used Wan Fu, but I could have won the fight in just a little more time, but I was blessed from the gods to do it as fast as it was done! ;)

Then, you may just lack of luck, because I almost always win against Si Ma Yi! The fact is that when you hit the "A" button to accept your last command, depending on when you hit it, it changes opponent's actions. It works with lots of RPGs... ;) And I was lucky enough to hit at the right time when he was 5000 soldiers... I don't worry about Wan Fu when he has 15000 soldiers left, except if he already used it in the battle... ;)

Don't worry my friend! I can tell you how I did it! The trick is to battle only the bosses until you get Zhuge Liang. It will allow you to get more levels where you will receive tactic points. Only at levels 12 and 20 did I not receive any tp instead of the 5 tp I get for each other level until level 31 in which Zhuge Liang learns his last magic spell. I guess you know the level 51 trick as well! ;)

For the final battle against Zhang Jao, you can use Han Zhong to get an easier fight, (attack from the cave) and it won't stop you from getting the top amount of tactical points! ;)

oops, replied to the wrong one lmao yea, i found out about getting that bridge built up and having only to fight the brothers instead of having zheng mao and cheng yuanzhi. though i try to make it as hard as possible on myself. i took the front entrance to that castle (where you fight the 5 guys at the same time) at lvl 5 lmao but one time, i couldn't make it easy on myself cause the game glitched and i started it with qing long lol

i thought i had heard something about getting 160 mtp by getting zhu ge as fast as possible. never hought of doing anything about it, cause 123 is as much as i need. tho the lvl i get there ppl say is insane (bao only has 15000 men max) so men is never really an option. but id love to see myself with 160 mtp and have so many left over, i could do the battle with his sons and him one after another :P

May be I got the 160 tp in one of my previous games, but I really don't remember. Anyway, with 150 tp, and with my An sha strategy, I could have done the last two fights without using Gui Huan to return safely... ;)

The fact is that Ce Mian is often worn off, and when we try to use the strategy going with it, the fight lasts longer and we must as well rely on luck... ;) Yes I was lucky, but who doesn't against Si Ma Yi when he defeats him?

lol yea. i use the Ce Mian cause it puts luck away. though you do need a very large store of tactical points if your ce mian wears off every turn. btw, how many tp did zhu ge liang have at this point? and yea. there's the fact that si ma yi is a fast son of a bitch, and might hit with a ji mian, where it lasts for turns on end lol

Jiang Wei had 131 tp and Zhuge Liang had 149. (Total tp=150) Since I know how to fight Si Ma Yi with An Sha, I prefer it because it is much quicker as a fight!

Using Ce Mian doesn't put luck away. When it wears off, Si Ma Yi can still use Wan Fu, Ji Mian, etc. Cheng Yu can use An Sha too. There is another video featuring the last fight for this game. The player uses Ce Mian and at the very end, he does an all-out attack against the last generals and it gave Cheng Yu chances to cast An Sha! The guy was in lack of tactical points, and he was more lucky than me dude!

for one, HOLY SHIT! how did you manage to get to 149 tp??? i can only get up to 130 lmao and jiang wei has 113 lmfao An sha works if you have the right setting. as for yours, it was pretty good. cause you put jiang wei as ur tactician, and put zhu ge in your party for the spells. it was smart, cause if zhu ge is ur enemy, i pretty much think he's a certifiable nightmare lol

yea, that's true. and i made a comment on that vid, and i say exactly how i do it. if you read it, i use ce mian, and i finish the battle in about 4 minutes lol but i guess i shold go with the saying: if it's not broke, don't fix it :P
