what fight? one shot KO. Rare, but seen it before. A fight is when two guys go toe to toe and there really isn't a clear winner. Not the hug match that we usually get or the one shot KO that was at least a fight. Haven't seen a good fight in a while. Not in the NHL anyways. Junior hockey. all the time. the refs just stay out of the way until it's safe. they like it too don't let anyone fool you. There has been talk about banning fighting in the NHL but hopefully that never happens cause it's one of the best parts of hockey. Awesome fight. god I love hockey. GO PENS

You get a 5 minute major penalty for it. So if the other team scores you don't come out of the box. They're off setting so it's still 5 on 5. The refs wait for it too finish and then move in. Punishment is only handed down if you do something like beat the shit out of the guy while he's on the ice.
