I just love Robin's speaking voice. It's totally different from his singing voice; much deeper! Not that i don't love his singing voice; it's angelic! It's just interesting to hear the difference.

I adore Fleet Foxes, there is no band like them that I know of. I never get sick of Mykonos, that live version is brilliant!

I think this sounds better live than the recorded version. In fact I don't really like the way the album was recorded, I think it let's down the great songs they've written.

@HalSamuel that might be because they recorded it in their basements. Phil Ek just guided them through it. He's said in interviews that he wishes he had put more time into their first record with them. you can really hear the difference in recording time and quality between their self titled and helplessness blues.

Fleet Foxes are better than Poco. Doesn't the term "indie" mean that its music made independently?It doesn't really mean a certain sound. So "indie" can't really divorced its roots because there are probably more indie bands and indie punk bands around today then there were in the past.

your right..there is nothing wrong with what Fleet Foxes is doing here.. They are making the music they want to make and doing it very well.. I like this band.. I'm just saying the general underground scene these days is really steeped in classic rock formula's. The Beatles, CSNY, Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin.. and those are all good bands.. but we have already heard them before. I just wish that so-called progressive music would progress instead of living in a state of retro. just an opinion.

their music has a purity and integrity. saw them at Bestival and they were fantastic but sadly main stage was drowned out by nearby dance tent. Would love to see them at smaller venue. Nice to see ordinary talented well-mannered people being successful.

i got the chance to see them at a smaller venue. it was sold out so my friend and i couldn't get it and they put us on their guest list because we were the first ones there. we got in for free. great music and great guys
