@baribearsd Thanks. I'm working on getting a better sounds. Mike Tompkins is someone I do listen to. He has a lot more experience than me which is why his sound the way they do, but give me time, I'll get there. :)

Ok Gabe, out of the 4 videos I just watched, this is the only one without extensive Auto-Tune effects. Let me be honest; your lead vocals are rough - your phrasing is not good, your instrumentals and beat-boxing sound the same on each song - very electro-pop, not realistic at all. You need more work to sound like a real drum set. Bass drum and hi-hat are really off. I think that you are spreading yourself too thin. Get a producer to do the mixing. Quit the cheesy video - focus on vocal quality.

@baribearsd Hi! Thanks for watching! I know I have some growth to make. I'm taking voice lessons and working on my mixing skills. If I had the money I'd hire a producer, but unfortunately that's not an option for me. I'm just a broke guy trying to improve, and I think I will in time. Well, I hope so. I'm very new at this. I've only done it 4 times, as you can see. But I do study Mike Tompkins and a lot of other great people on YouTube and am working hard to improve. Thanks 4 the advice
