This is probally the older RB26 engine and placed the diffrent cover they have so it appears as it were from the R32 cause you can tell the piping coming from the throttle body is older the R32 engines are pretty hard to come by and expensive.

If hes got enough money to spend on a eight thousand dollar engine then he has enough to do cosmetic upgrades i doubt its a true R32 rb26

@johnjirvin Bulls eye on the broke part but lazy no, its just for about 4k for a motor and tranny swap which you won't be able to use the tranny so you have to buy a rb25 tranny which can be around 1k give or take not to mention cutting into the crossmember I think the firewall but not positive. All I was saying is the $>hp ratio is not worth it, but being broke does make me a little biased. Just wanted to make it clear I know exactly how epic this swap is cause I know what it takes

people are dumb. that rb26dett engine comes with an AWD transmission, but usually people swap transmissions for the rb25det which is a RWD transmission. its nearly impossible to put AWD on this car especially since the engine takes up most of the whole engine bay.

This is my car, to answer some questions that I've seen through this. IT IS NOT 800HP, HAVE NO IDEA HOW THIS CAME ABOUT!!!!. It made 330hp to the wheels. The car was origanlly built for drift as far as the suspension goes, I have since decided to cancel that and tuned the suspension for street driven balanced cornering, I am a technician and did the alignment for this myself. It has a RB25DET RWD Transmission. GTR's Only came in AWD

convertible s13 with rb26dett for drifting is FAIL, not at all because of the engine, but simply because of the fact that any convertible is inherently weaker structurally than the non convertible counterpart. You would experience too much roll, twist, etc. for it to be practical. Nice car for cruising around in tho.

@ksizzle199 RB26DETT is AWD. What? An engine is not AWD or RWD or WhateverWD, the transmission is. The Skyline R34 GT-R is AWD thanks to it's ATTESA-ETS Pro drivetrain. And I don't think they will fit the drivetrain in this car. It can be done, but wil a lot of modifications to the chassis. Anyway, this S13 is an FR car (RWD) with an AWESOME engine. Nice car :)
