@halcyon0830 I totally agree. We have become so morally depraved and hopelessly selfish that we are starting to de-evolve emotionally as a human race. It has become too convenient for people to be accustomed to making excuses and never taking accountability for their wrongdoings. I will always smile when I see the good in people, but it seems a rarity nowadays. Greed and money will always rear their ugly heads unfortunately and affect people accordingly.

The USA has been in the global hot seat for a long time, every military action, every policy, every fuck up has been under critical observation by the whole world. When China invades some country you don't hear nearly as much nay say about them. Maybe as they grow to become the next super power, things will change. For all our flaws we still represent western values.

If these Canadian systems you praise are truly so great, sooner or later the US will adapt them. But we have our own systems, and before we take in a new idea it needs to be digested. Nothing gets changed in the US without a lot of debate, time and arguing. That's our immune system at work.
