Hey guys...I happen to be a Knicks fan and of course that means that I love Patrick Ewing but Hakeem is the best center I've ever seen...You talk about Kareem and he's great no doubt about it...he has probably one of the most beautiful shots in basketball, the sky-hook, but Dream had like 20 moves and 20 countermoves around the basket.Plus he also was a better defensive player than Kareem cuz he was a better ball thief.And let's not 4get that Dream did not have Magic,Worthy&theBigO on his team!

well in terms of individual performance i think kareem is still the best offensive center of all-time.. i call that sky hook move LEGENDARY..nobody else mastered it as well as him.He scored majority of his points by sky hooking. It was impossible to stop, i think only blocked twice or thrice in his ENTIRE 20 year career.

I am Hakeem's number 1 fan, but I will readily admit Jabbar is the ONLY Center I would take over Hakeem, of course I could easily take Dream over Jabbar and not suffer a drop-off in a big playoff game. Jabbar was superior offensively, but Dream's versatility on 'D would give him the edge on Jabbar for me. Imo the top 2 centers ever.

Then Wilt, .and then Shaq, then Russell. Wilt did shut Jabbar down in Game 6 1972, right? And also rules were made to stop his dominance. Remember that fact.

Hakeem the dream if he is not a top 5 player of all-time then I dunno what to say. He basically carried a sixth seed all the way to the championship. He simply dominated guys like Patrick Ewing, David Robinson, and even a young Shaq. He was a game changer he brought a variety of post moves not seen before such as the "dream shake".
