Dan, it appears as if you are still struggling somewhat lifting the cover with the gas pistons in place. I had a piston driven system, that when new, took only two fingers to lift into it's upright position. Leaves me to wonder about the quality of those pistons.
well, 3 things......this spa is very big, the cover is fairly heavy, and i am weak :o) it is actually pretty easy and there are a number of other cover lifters on the market that we sell....and i find the cover valet to actually be the best one. thanks for watching. dan

looks like you were straining to lift the cover...makes me wonder what trouble my wife would have opening it by herself.
