His shutdown defense was extremely missed in the finals. Meh, not using it as an excuse, but might as well point out that the Bruins had no severe injuries at the end of the cup finals, the Canucks had numerous of em. The Bruins had more than there share of injuries (ALL teams do) it is just not broadcast to the general public so the opposing team does not target those players.
Dan Hamhuis is not that much of an impact player that he would affect a seven game series! The Bruins were the better team...end of story!!
