  • I love weed and I love the stooges but damn.... This straight up ruined the stooges. The guy playing moe was trying way to hard to be like the real moe and the others were annoying.

  • They did a very respectable job,I laughed my ass off,Its hard to pull off the 3 stooges, but these guys did a good a job as Ive ever seen! # 3Stooges,Rock on.!!!!!!!!!!!$ ever!!!

  • Larry David is playing Sister Mary-Mengele in the upcoming Three Stooges 2012. (Funniest Sister Name ever.)

  • George Costanza: "Elaine, let me explain something to you. Nobody walks into a barber shop and says "Give me the Larry Fine!""

  • ye man weed all the way great video

  • Larry David as Larry Fine is histyrical

  • I want a nightshirt!

  • Comment removed

  • Why did Moe's estate protest? Was it the drug uasage or the fact they don't let anyone resemble the 3 stooges?

  • Thanks for posting, it's been AGES !

    WoW 30 years !!!

  • I thought that moe called larry porcupine

  • That was fuckin stupid.

  • i can see why larry david is embarassed by this show

  • thought i would never see this show again!! THANKS for all the "fridays" uploads!!!

  • Imitators seldom perform like the originals. This was really, really funny. Great job!

  • Nice, good to see them smoke some.

  • Only dopes use dope.

  • spread out!!!!

  • 'Larry' is Larry David and 'Moe' is the guy who played the rabbi on Seinfeld.

  • @excommando1 If that guy playing Moe was the wacky rabbi on Seinfeld then he sure aged in under 10 years. I dont think this is the same guy.

  • @thegoosebrain bruce mahler played both parts. fridays was on from 80-82 and his appearances on seinfeld were from the mid-to late 90s. no credits on his imdb filmography after 2000. i hope the 60ish mr. mahler is in good helath because i find him to be very funny and talented.

  • perfect!!!

  • I'm not getting a draw...c'mon chughead...PULL! ^_^

  • Very very good actors and funny

  • Oops; meant Larry & Curly.

  • Moe & Larry are great, dead on: Moe is David Birney tryin' to be.

  • Who would be dumb enough to front the 3 Stooges a pound of weed? lol

  • porcipine.....spread out!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • People should stop trying to replicate them.

  • remind me to murder you later, ill make a note of it ...lmao

  • thanx for posting this one its on my favorites

  • fridays

  • Vernon looks like John Lennon.

  • sucks bad.

  • This is the funniest thang I have ever seen! I use to watch Fridays as a kid ... Remember Battle Boy skets the best.

  • This is funny as Hell!!

  • That was pretty stupid. But worth a bunch of chuckles. And I'm not even stoned. : )

I really want to see the "That's Meshuggah" sketch from Fridays. I remember seeing it when it originally aired.

  • Nah. Really not that funny. A curio though considering LD is in it. But a one joke sketch that goes on too long.

  • It strikes me as very funny that so many of the "tough-guy" bald headed wannabes today look just as rediculous as Curly in this vid.

  • These guys have the Stooges nailed. With the drug humor on top of the Stooges routine I laughed my buttcheeks off. Wish they'd done a full lengh feature like Cheech & Chong.

  • I guess you would have had the opportunity to enjoy the original three stooges in black and white TV to appreciate this scene... I did, that was long agao... how far we all come... I loved it and laughed my ass off!!!! Good shit, makes me wanna fire one up !!!!!

  • NOT FUNNY???........r u fucking kidding me? this bit and tha whole show was fuckin' hilarious............sure beats the goofy shit on nowadays !

  • This wasn't funny. I'm fine with the drug usage. The comedy just wasn't funny. The actors stumbled over their lines and the characters were annoying.

I really don't understand America's fascination with the Three Stooges.

  • So then why did you feel you needed to view this clip?????????????

  • I thought it was going to make me laugh. It didn't. I did like seeing Larry David from the past though.

  • you are a moron and yes, you are morbid.

  • This was a running bit on Fridays.

My favorite is when George Hamilton was the guest star and the Stooges turn out to be his long lost brothers. A woman dressed as Rona Barret says, "Your brother speaks very highly of you." To which, Curly replies, "Yeah, what was he high on?"

Man, I'd pay to see that again.

  • Funny how this becomes a place for weed arguments. Just enjoy the spoof.

  • The best Stooge spoof I have seen, though MAD TV's "De Trey Stoogez" comes close. Too bad the Moe Howard estate objected to the sketch. They, of all people, ought to have seen how faithful the writers and performers were. They even named the dealer Vernon, after longtime Stooge foil, Vernon Dent, who was in the film, Bedlam in Paradise, where they were trying to sell a gadget to him that wouldn't work, like the atomic bong in this sketch.

  • Aside from the controversial content of the script, those guys did a great job!

  • The sketch is funny, whether you're a pothead or not. And jutst for the record: alcohol kills, pot doesn't. 'nuff said.

  • @lastminuteexplosions yes yes!!!! I Agree

  • Hey moroenheim, is drug use funny if a clown does it?

  • I saw this the night it aired, have not seen it since. Have never stopped quoting it the whole time.

    Oboy, Peruvian blow !!!

    nyuknyuknyuk

  • Yeah, Urkle was great alright! Those funny glasses and that voice! But what's HE got to do with......Oh ! You said 'ORACLE'- not 'Urkle'-Sorry I'm stoned!

  • Your the reason why America has no hope, I bet you're a cop..fucking clown

  • I tend to agree. However, I still wish it was legal to take all the crime out of it.

  • Get off your soapbox! If weed were legal the demand for more harmful drugs would drop conciderably. Alcohol destroys more lives than marijuana but nobody would be bitching if the 3 stooges were a bunch of drumks in this skit!

  • Oh great oracle of wisdom, how do you know that illegal drug demand would be reduced? I like how people confidently spout "facts" they have no idea of the reality of.

  • O M G what a bunch of Debbie Downers. It's just a comedy bit, not every show was Little House on the Prairie or Facts of Life.

  • FRidays was a b-rated Saturday Night Live which was a c-rated Monty Python. Those who don't get this either have been listening to too much rap music which we will refer to you as something that begins with a wig and ends with an er or you never watched the 3 Stooges before and don't have a clue. Again Fridays was not high quality it was lower budget than low...kinda like moder SNL.

  • I just think it's cool that Larry David got to play Larry, because that's what his hair actually looked like in the early eighties.

  • there's nothing clever or funny here. its obvious the writers have never been exposed to drugs. Larry David is very funny, but his Larry Fine is the worst. i think the Curly is pretty good though.

  • The "talentless fagot who should never be allowed to perform comedy again" that is playing Larry here is Larry David the co creator of Seinfeld and the creator of Curb your Enthusiasm.

How many of the best sitcoms ever created has your 4 year old niece come up with?

  • yeah, i agree how many grimmy?

  • this is a joke, is case the fools out there don"t know. of course it's not supposed to look or sound correct . it's A COMEDY SKIT, WAKE UP!!!!

  • do a youtube search for "stoned shemp"

  • Oh man, you stoners.

    Larry - Is Larry David

Moe is - oh hell, you know, La Musica LaMusica, also Police Acadamey

    Curly is John Roarke

    Vernon - Is Mark Blankenship

  • Larry was Michael Richards from Seinfeld, Dude.

  • Mark Blankfield always plays a good sonofabitch.

Plus he directed the worst movie ever made: Frankenstein General Hospital.

  • When was this made? What show? I've never seen it before.

  • It was made in the early 1980s on a short-lived sketch show called Fridays. It was like Saturday Night Live if it was taped in the 1980s and they did a boatload of drug humor.

  • Thanks.

  • That guy doing Curly had to have been a big fan. It was spot on.

  • OMG The Three Stooges Are My Favorite. I dont like seeing them being made fun of :(

    plus this is just immiture

  • ...and using childish acronyms like "OMG" and teenager emotes like " :( " isn't immature? Or is your self-righteous head in your ass like 99% of the people who comment?

P.S.: Before saying something is immAture, learn how to spell the word first.

  • It was funny until the bong came out...

  • Pussy. Go cry about it you brainwashed product of Reaganomics. I hate ignorant closed minded pussy bitches that have a bias against weed because the anti-drug commercials told them to. Fucking dumbass... Please go read a book and see why they want to control your thoughts, if reading isn't too hard for you.

  • Yeah, keep cussing me out and acting like a jerk. I thought the skit was stupid, but you are far worse. Why said I was biased? I can tell you time after time the people who have ruined their lives over drugs. To you it may be a drug or just a plant, but it's what they're doing with it that ruins them.

Keep cusg like a moron and your message will be ignored. People who get E-tough aren't very mature.

  • those guys are retarted makeing fun of them like that assholes

  • I agree, the Curly especially! Curly did act dumb, but he was at least funny.

  • their imitation is good....but.....this theme sucks! x__x

if it had a better theme than stoning the stooges, i think stooges-fans would appreciate more..... ._.

  • That was GREAT! Where can I see these guys.

  • What year was this filmed? This was a funny video.

  • That was a very smart reproduction of the original stooges with the same hilarious act and the resemblances of the three. This is so funny enough that I enjoyed it so much! Thanks for showing it!

  • haha Larry David is awesome!!!!!

  • this is a friday's episode very funny

  • that was the poopiest viveo i have ever seen

those guys should get thrown in jail and eat the tile

  • Poopiest, huh? Sigh.... Sorry extraterrestrial life. I have nothing to do with people like sundayderby, who use the vocabulary of a 3 year old... please spare me, and understand, it's The Simpsons' fault people are idiots.

  • are these the guys are air on the radio about gico or something

  • they got so baked...

  • This is very funny do you have more skits of the 3 stooges like this? If you do I would like to see them.

  • I dont blame Moes estate for blocking this crap!

  • Moe's estate never blocked this stuff nor could they. You dont need their permission to act or look like a stooge, Dude.

  • OMG this was a very funny skit, which actor portrayed who?

  • Larry was Michael Richards

    Moe was Mark Blankfield

    Curly was John Roarke

The last two I'm not sure of, but I do know Larry was Michael Richards (I recognized his face)

  • Larry was played by Larry David.

  • Oh, sorry about that.

  • Mark Blankfield is Vernon the dealer coming to collect his money. Moe is Bruce Mahler. He was the Rabbi occasionally on Seinfeld.

  • Bruce Mahler also played a rabbi on this recurring Fridays sketch called "Live and Be Well" along with being the rabbi on Seinfeld.

  • fuck yea gotta love that poster of leon russell in the background

  • A classic. I remember another one they (same 3 actors as the stooges)did on "Fridays" where they ran a stop-smoking clinic. I think Michael Richards was their customer. Anyone have this one? Rockvision?

  • Whether or not you agree with the Three Stooges smoking weed, Larry David, Bruce Mahler and John Roarke all did very well mimicking the Stooges. Plus, I wouldn't have done the same thing but you look at three guys who are funny looking, act dopey, kick the crap out of each other but spend all their time together and sleep in the same bed, you'd say in 1980, "They existed today, they'd be on drugs."

Plus, Moe's estate was overly sensitive.

  • for the record, i hate anything dealing with drugs and secondly i like anything three stooges sir.

  • never seen this before, but "Larry" looked an awful lot (in fact pretty exactly) like a young Larry David.

  • that was Larry David.

  • I remember watching this on TV when it first aired 26 years ago and loved it. A cross between the freak brothers and the three stooges. Though it was funny then and just as funny now...

  • Isn't the whole idea of a parody, to do things the originals wouldn't do? I think it's lame of Moe's estate to block this

  • christians suck, and so does this video, please never parody the 3 stooges ever again.

  • Duh, WHERE'S THE EVIDENCE THAT 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB?

    I CAN'T SEE ANY.

EVEN IF YOU SHOW IT TO ME.

I ONLY SUPPORT THE FAITH-BASED OFFICIAL CONSPIRACY THEORY.

  • For the record, I as a devout Christian cannot condone such foolishness. Off the record that was TOO FUNNY! That guy that played Curly was great. Off the record of course. Thanks for posting.

  • You're so right. As a devout Christian you've got much better foolishness to condone. I suppose you think the Lord your God doesn't read Youtube posts? You're fooling yourself, Christian. Just watching this video all the way through has got to be three or four "Hail Mary's".

  • Father iselliot - Hail Mary, Hail Mary, Hail Mary. Is that sufficient or would you like one more?

  • Listen, being Christ-like I forgive you, it's the big man I'm worried about. He's kinds grumpy when it comes to weed. Seems it gives you a pleasurable euphoric sensation, the kind the church has exclusive rights to. That's why they're not to crazy about sex either. Anything that good has got to be a sin. Have a fun life Christian. I'm going to get high and boink my girlfriend in your honor.

  • Father subval: Boy, I'm gettin' all kinds of advise and forgiveness! I think your impression of the church is a little confused, but maybe it has been skewed by some bad experiences in your past. I can sure understand that. Hey, let me give you a scripture for you and your girl. This is one our founding fathers took very seriously. Ephesians 5:5. (Ya, you'll have to look it up.) Read it while you're boinkin' your girl!

  • Oh wow, a devout christian! He's so righteous! Go fuck yourself, you self-important self-righteous piece of shit. It's just a plant. Oh, and tell Jesus I said he was a BITCH.

  • I remember reading about this skit in a book I have about the Three Stooges. The authors described the skit as "tasteless". True, the actual Stooges wouldn't have done drug culture humor, but, I laughed at it anyway. Love Curly spinning like a top after a doobie hit. WOOO-WOO-WOO!

  • The producers of "Fridays" was actually sued for unlicensed use of the Stooges likenesses for this skit from Norman Maurer Productions (the same thing happened earlier when Rich Little did a "Three Stooges Stop Smoking Clinic" sketch on his comedy variety show in 1976 (if only somebody would post that, since it was struck from existing tapes of the show because of the lawsuit).

  • 3 stooges = not funny.

  • It didn't air once. It was a running series of routines. The estate weren't fans but whoop-de-shit.

  • Well, I don't smoke the stuff myself (or regular cigs) but I thought the routine was great just for the guy playing Curly..the guy sounded JUST like him. Not too many could get that one right. Good job.

  • wow that looks nothing like weed.

  • how would u know what weed looks like do u smoke it

  • yeah, i do.

  • Wow. That was embarrasingly awful.

  • Quite possibly the funniest thing I have ever seen! Thanks for posting.

  • I'm sorry..it was nyuckinng hilarious!!!!

  • Thanks..this was fucking hilarious!!!!

  • Priceless Nyuk Nyuk woop woop woop

  • Check it out, that's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" Larry David as Larry!

  • this was on network tv 25 yeras ago!!! shit man

  • Funny as hell, laughed my ass off

  • Interesting, mildly funny but not much else other than novelty value. Beware of Comedy III (The copyright holders of The Three Stooges). They'll sue you before you can say Ticonderoga. If you can say Ticonderoga.

  • This is ok but I can't stand it when people immitate the Stooges because nobody can ever get it right.

  • That's from "Fridays!" I seem to recall them doing that routine a few times. Larry "Curb Your Enthusiasm/Seinfeld" David as Larry Fine!
