@millymoo6000 Well I thought the same thing for awhile but when I got my remote I basically would sit on my bed (near my imac) and control front row with it and watch videos so I dont have to worry about the keyboard and mouse.

@millymoo6000 It's very good in the front seat application, because it turns your mac into an iPod practically.

you didn't pair it. it works out of the box with any mac. to pair it hold down the right and the menu for 5 seconds until the logo appears on the screen. after you do that, it will only work with that mac.

@venichen1 i know your comment is 10 months old, but try boxee.tv, better than front row, auto tags everything and 1 click access to subtitles, reviews and ratings... and its FREE!

I dont think you paired, If paired it a apple remote logo would appear and it didnt. When you buy a apple remote they all already paired to every Mac but to pair it to only one Mac I think you hold the center button and menu like you did on the old remote until an apple remote logo appears on the screen.
