This is stp's version of their "white album" (Beatles) but so up to date. Every song is a taste of how this band has outlasted their "Seattle" counterparts. "Adhesive" is a "masterpiece"
@MrArey101 I agree. I was (am) a Nirvana fan and used to hate STP when they appeared but the band showed it has so much personality. This album is great.
One of my all time fav songs.. with one of the most interesting lyrics I've heard "My friend Blue.. he runs the Show.. with HOT... Pink.. Purple.. China ... GloW"
Thank you Wez 666 for posting! The slide show is awesome (what are you talking about "nothing fancy" - captures STP perfectly!) This is one of my favorite songs ever - it draws me into a zone of gratefulness for life, music, love.....the trumpet is like a slow dance in a dark bar, after hours....
@sasichorra Seriously? I'm from where Scott is from, and I'll tell you something about that 'big fag.' He may look like a twig, but you cross him, and he's a mean mother fucker. But, on a serious note, why would you say something so hateful? I'm not mocking, making fun, or arguing. I'm just curious.
Still their best album in my honest opinion, even though I fell in love with the new one. Hell, all of their albums are just incredible. I really hope they make another album and have at least one song of this caliber on it. I'd also love a b-sides album with "Only Dying" on it. I'm rambling now. STP for life!
Congratulations, very nice video, I don't know why, but this song makes me cry!! jaja maybe the rithm, maybe lyrycs, I don`t know, but thaks to make this video!! I hope STP will play this song on mexico city this next 1st december!! ja!! My best wishes 4 u.
Stone temple pilots were like the zeppelin of the 90's as far as having scope and being versatile with their music. This is just astonishing show of creativity here. I love it.
@nickynice711 Yes, I saw it in Bethlehem, PA. They got quiet, Scott even sat in a chair. He put his finger up to his lips like "shhh" to get the crowd in the front to settle down. Was absolutely amazing. That was back in the day but I remember it vividly. Next time you go see them, send Scott a tweet for a request. Maybe if enough people ask... you never know :)
@krkgak Was at his book signing in NYC the day it came out... It was made blatantly clear, "NO INSCRIPTIONS, NO PERSONALIZATIONS!!! SCOTT WILL JUST BE SIGNING HIS NAME SO HE CAN GET TO ALL OF YOU!" I slapped hands with him and said, "It's all about the Adhesive Love bro, fuck Unglued!" He signed my book "Adhesive Love S. Weiland" Later that night at the show Scott and his band closed the encore with Unglued. My man is ironic. However he looks healthy as fuck I just hope he's content and happy
@TonyRomoAKARayFinkle That is so awesome! I know artists are always interested in hearing what "speaks" to their fans. So glad he gave a personal touch when he signed your book. Great to hear he looks healthy. He's a fighter and a survivor :)
One of my favorite songs of all time!.. I went to visit family in Hawaii when I was 16 like in 1996 and still get that nostalgia when I hear this song....Thanks.... Seriously!
Another one of my favorites. I love all of their stuff but when they do this stuff along with, And So I know, Wonderful, Sour Girl, Days of the Week. Killer stuff.
Wez666, I love you for putting this song up. One of my favorite STP songs. Cant wait to see them when they come back to the DC area and the new album!
Hands down the best album they ever made. Who knows what Scott is singing about half the time but man there are some well crafted songs on here. I feel like this is the first real STP album when they weren't trying to be someone else but just let it come out how ever it needed to.
this is also one of my fav stp songs as well, and i agree bout the album 2. not only is this one of my fav bands i also think they dont get enough credit for how good they've been and for how long they've been good now. i've always loved these guys and their sound.
masterpiece!

Definitely in my top 3 favorite songs of all time, (I can never quite decide between this, Gimme Shelter and Boot Camp by Soundgarden).
This song practically saved my life last summer, because suicide seems so much less practical when such beautiful things exist as this.
