@Thompsonnw Yes. They were simulcasting Fox News Channel's live coverage of the aforementioned Sen. John Glenn space shuttle launch (noted by Macie at the 1:30 mark). It obviously went past the midday news' 12:30 end point.

The noon news on WJW was also anchored by Dave Buckel for many years until he shifted to weekends sometime in the early 80's.
