  • Janet lost it making love to me

  • You can loose 4lbs a week. If you do diet and cardio thats 2 lbs a month but if you add dancing and sports, which Janet was dancing six hours a day, one can loose 4lbs a week

  • Thank you for that! I really found it hard to believe myself. I don't see how she could have lost that amount of weight so quickly without some type of drug combined with a lot of exercise. It does seem as though celebs have a secret for losing weight faster and won't ever reveal what that secret is and I'm sure a lot of them use drugs and drink a lot of alcohol and not eat very much to keep their weight down. If it were that easy for women to drop 20 to 60lbs in 2-4 months we could all do it.

  • Steve,

    Love your videos.

BTW why is it bad to lose weight too fast? Is it because you wind up losing more muscle than fat? TIA.

  • losing more than 2lbs a week isn't good

  • Losing 60 pounds in 4 months is definitely doable. I lost 70 pounds in 3.5 months. Just went to a diet strictly of raw fruits, vegetables, and meat (but mostly salmon). Also did cardio twice per day (HIIT), and lifted weights 6 days per week (few sets, low reps, weight session never lasted more than 30 minutes). Took tremendous dedication and a lot of focus. I wouldn't have been able to do it if I had a 9-5 job. That's another advantage celebrities have over Joe Blow with a job.

  • Celebrities are just as human. Love you, Steve!

  • true, i do think you can lose 60 lbs in a short amt of time. boxers do it but it's some crazy work. so i think that jj was doing it full time as if it were a big boxing match that depended on it. and let me tell, you, she gained a lot of it back really soon after just like boxers. i believe she either could or did, but for sure not just by exercise. she had to be on a calorie restriction of some kind...

  • @peazlove247 A lot of it is water and they put the weight back on after weigh in but before the fight. They sit in a sauna and constantly wipe their sweat off, they spit, etc.

  • actually it is possible especially if the person is bigger..if a huge person was used to eating lets say 5,000 per day without any activity and switched to 2,000 per day with 30 min daily activity, the caloric deficit of 3500 to lose 1 real pound would be easily achievable. it's when the person starts leaning out that it becomes harder b/c their caloric deficit isn't as large as a bigger person who's never worked out a day in their life. nonetheless, overall message is good to note for others

  • ...

  • see i knew i was not crazy

  • Steve it cracks me up when people seeking for help end up arguing with you or disagreeing with you.

  • Janet is a yo yo dieter, so it is VERY possible for her to have lost 60 pounds in 4 months. I've lost more than that in a short amount of time by exercising 2x a day and eating a strict diet. It is very possible to lose a lot of weight very quickly, it just isn't the "healthiest" way to do it.

  • @Hotice770 What people also aren't realizing, is that Janet was 180+ pounds when she began losing weight. The more overweight you are, the more/faster you'll lose weight. So she could have easily lost 20/25 pounds in the first month alone. And then once she got to a more stable weight, the weight loss slowed down.

  • Janet and all the others are using Adderall ,clenbuterol and all those asthma medications..

  • I've lost 40 pounds in 2 months before. It is possible to lose 60 pounds in 4 months. Its requires a lot of hard work, but it's possible. Plus Jillian Michaels claims the losing 1-2 pounds a week thing is a myth. She said that as long as you're doing healthy exercise and diet, you'll lose as much as your body allows. So yeah, the 1-2 pounds a week being the "healthy" number is a myth not a fact.

  • Jillian Michaels is an idiot! Anybody that yells at somebody to motivated them to lose weight is a moron.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV Lots of fitness instructors use the drill Sargent approach to make people lose weight. Some people need that kind of person to push them to their limits. I doubt she is an idiot since she is in excellent shape and extremely successful at what she does.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV while I agree her technique isn't the best for most people, name-calling is beneath you, Steve. I would hope your more respectful of others than that.

And it's possible to lose that weight in 4 months, though unlikely for a lady of her size.

I lost 70lbs in 3 months... but first, I started at 290lbs... BUT I have a wicked metabolism due to large muscle mass, and I worked my arse off anywhere from 2 to 5 hours a day of cycling 6 days a week. Plus a Low-Carb high fat diet...

  • @lilbrowstalker no one said it's not possible. However, it's not realistic and it doesn't teach to maintain that healthy weight later. eventually you'll still have to turn to a realistic diet and exercise program

  • janet is knifed up thts y..lmao

  • It's not by chance she, MAdonna and other pay people to personally train them: exercise with them, check on their diet, check on their schedule.

OTOH, well, we both know that people with money do play by slightly different 'rules'. Extra stuff though since the basics still apply. Tom Hanks for instance probably refused to get into it - he can afford those demands ;)

  • weightlifting is a superior form of weightloss over aerobics. your constantly burning calories in exercise and when the muscle break and build back up. you lose very little lean muscle and mostly fat weight . but i ate quaker oats plain kind with all bran mixed in. my total cholesterol went from 205 to 132. so just eating right will help. you should lose no more than 1 or 2 pounds per week unless your 50 Ilbs over then you can get by 3 pounds per week lost. i was 254 now i am about 220 w muscle.

  • yes that's true but only if you workout to a bodybuliders intensity!!! but does your average person do that? probably not

  • She actually did lose 60 pounds in 4 months, do u not realize dancing is excersice and she had to do 8 hours a day of dance practice on top of her workout and strict "diet" so its was possible she worked really hard to lose her weight

  • if you eat 2000 calories but swim like michael phelps did before the olympics you´d lose 2 pounds a day or 60 pounds in a month. But this is not realistic which is what steve is trying to tell you in this clip! Not that it is impossible, just dont expect those results yourself.

  • its possible cause i lost 50 pounds in three months

  • yes you lost muscle and water and probably almost no fat. and you damaged your kidneys

  • Swamimans, you're right about that "Bibles36" guy, but how'd he hurt his kidneys? I wanna know because I lost 80 pounds in 3 months a few years ago (again, lots of water and muscle lost). Thanks.

  • i meant his liver. lose that much weight can damage your liver. i dont know how but its not healthy.

  • I think 60 pounds in 3 months might have been done. maybe she did do a lot of cardio? and was put on a very strict diet of eggs and vegetables. you never know. i mean she had a team by her side guiding her every move. Ive read of people losing 20 pounds a mouth? so why is 60 pounds in 30 months so hard to believe? lol. Oh well thats just me saying. Sh*t I wish i could lose 60 that quick.

  • NIce to have somebody educated watching.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV

Watched all your videos, I feel much more educated now thank you.

I just cut protein shakez from my life you saved me cash and extra calories.

  • thanks for this video. i'm a kinesio major so i totally agree and know what you're talking about.

  • decent advise! thanks!

  • What were they trying to sell?

  • My pleasure.

  • steve, how did you forearms get so big? did you do a lot of hammer curls or what

  • Wrist curls and reverse curls.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV May I ask you, do wrist curls harm your wrist tendons? I practice guitar many hours a day so they're already abit sore and I'm afraid I might harm it if I do the curls.

    Thanks in advance!

  • @broknsaint They will not bother your tendon just start out light and work your way up.

  • @BodyPerformanceTV Ok thanks for the info!

  • janet jackson was muscler before she gain and lost but muscle has memory so is proably wouldn't have taken her as long.

  • Finally, someone talking some sense!! Thank you so much for your videos, it can be really confusing with all the diets around these days and your straightforward no-nonsense approach is great.

  • eatweightoffdotcom

  • you lost 103 lbs in 4 mnths and you look like crape with loose skin and stretch markes that's the price to pay to lose weight so rapidly

  • So it's not possible to loose 28 lbs in 2 months? Or 7 lbs in a week? HELP? Cuz i need to loose weight! Come on tell me there is something out there for me!

  • If you lose weight that fast, then you're probably eating really low calories, and your body will lose weight through a lot of muscle loss instead of just mostly fat loss. Then when you go back to your regular diet, you'll gain all the fat back without the muscle and you'll look worse. It's best to just eat a small daily calorie deficit combined with cardio.

  • look at her now she gained thirty five pounds back already check out my vid.,

  • why people want to hate on janet new body. He don't know about janet and how she works out, you dance for 8 hours 6 days a week for a video or tour and see if the weight doesn't come off. And what about the people on "The Biggest Loser" losing 15-20 a week. I have loss 20 in 6 weeks by working out, dancing 3 hours a day and not drinking soda or ice cream cakes or eating bad food.

  • Losing that much is unhealthy, so it's not a good idea to spread that kind of weight loss around.

  • how is it unhealthy when it is done correctly?

  • Go google it, your taking quite a toll on your body.

  • You can lose 60lbs in 4 months but it will be really unhealthy. I lost 50 lbs in 4 months, but i had really bad food poisoning and i couldnt really eat much after that, they almost hooked me up to a feeding tube, because i would eat about 700 calories a day, that's a few pieces of bread and yogurt with tea. If you eat taht for 4 months you will lose 60lbs if you survive.

  • what the hell, nobody is talking about food poisoning im talking about healthy eating. That means no soda, cakes, ice cream, candy, junk food. Eat fruit, veggie nad baked your food and don't eat fried food. damn people slow

  • I think you are the one that is slow.

  • no yo momma slow for having you. I know what the fuck i'm talking about.

  • ur a nut ... u can lose that much in that amount of time ...i did it ..i aint a star hunny ...u apply urself u educate urself on how the body works. ur just a dumbass cuttin ppl down.

  • I so agree about this, after having my son who is now 18months old I saw people like Britney spears one month after she had her baby and she was so much thinner.

We were the same weight before and after but how did she lose it faster then me? It took me 6 months to lose 40 pounds with intense workout and diet and I've finally got my bod back. Mags lie and remember they have chefs and personal trainers to help them, we dont and we have to do it the real way. Thanks for your advice, love it!

  • Sorry to ask so many question though, but how many months do you think it would take to lose about 45 pounds? I want to lose it until July (today's March 18) so I can buy my pussycat dolls short shorts and wear them to the beach. Or will it take longer? I gosh hope not!

  • Ummm, so you think its physically impossible to lose more then 4 lbs of bodyfat a week? I just started a Cyclical Ketogenic Diet 6 weeks ago and i have lost 46 lbs of bodyfat and added 5 lbs of lean body mass. And i am still losing on average, 6-8 lbs of fat each week while doing CKD, without any muscle loss.

  • (part 5)

Janet did it in 4 mos. She has a ton of help and support though, so what do you expect?? Plus, she's JANET JACKSON!!

(And yes, her face is just naturally round. She does not go under the knife to get that body. If she got as much surgery as ppl always claim, she would look worse than Latoya.... Worse than Michael. Let's be real. Janet is gorgeous because she does what she has to do... Work hard.)

    LOVE YOU, J!!!!

  • WHERE DID PT 4 GO?

  • (part 3)

On top of this, Janet has something a lot of ppl do not. Money. She has excellent trainers. She gave her trainer permission to come into her house and wake her out of bed and keep her motivated, because Janet HATES working out. But, once she's going at it, she's good. She eats the best healthy cuisine. Including sushi made with soybean wrap instead of eel and no rice with it. So, 60 lbs. in 4 mos. sounds pretty accurate to me when you take in all of that information.

  • (part 2)

You need to consider that J's body is used to going up and down in the scale. It took her two months for her to really start seeing results. She worked out 2 hours a day, but on top of that, she danced 6-8 hrs a day. THAT is where most of her workout was really at. And have you ever REALLY scrutinized a dance performance of Janet's? The choreography is all over the place. For a regular person, the instrumental segment before the first verse is enough to make you sit down.

  • (part 1)

I understand that this video is not meant to bash Janet in any way. However, i feel the need to speak for Janet, since I am a huge fan, and I have read tons of articles and seen her interviews (most likely all of them) about this weight loss.

  • I would think if anyone would be dedicated and motivated to lose the weight it would be Janet. Granted she had a trainer and prepared meals but she did lose the weight that fast, you can look up the candid photos of her running on the beach and see the dates are correct. Also think about the fact that she is a celebrity her job is to look good she can commit 8 hours of her day to working out if she has to b/c part of her product is her body. In Janet's case a big part.

  • I hope lots of people see this video. Janet was on Oprah's show the other day again talking about this weight loss routine, and after showing the type of exercises she was doing, I simply didn't believe this kind of weight loss was possible in that amount of time - while developing a six pack, no less! Thanks BPTV!

  • You're welcome. Not to be critical of Janet but that was the purpose of this video.

  • you really gotta reply right?

  • Typically when somebody loses that much weight you will see it in their face as well. But I haven't seen enough before and after shots of her to tell. Although, I thought she's always had a rather round face.

  • She's gone under knife..why is her face so fat?

  • Possibly! We haven't dated for a while so I haven't seen her recently!

  • lol good reply

  • I love this channel. Thank you :)

  • You're welcome!

  • True. But 60 pounds in 4 months is about 14000 calories lost a week. It can be done (at 40 years old)but you have to be REALLY dedicated and know what you're doing.

  • Oh okay. I see what you're saying.

  • I know 60 pounds in 4 month is a bit extreeeeme, but it's not impossible. I remember last year I lost 17 pounds in one month eating about 800 to 1000 calories a day. And I'd go to the gym and I wouldn't leave till I had burned at least 2000 calories doing cardio. It was very grueling but it can be done. And if she lost 60 pounds in 4 months, then she was probably burning around 1750 calories a day. But I think someone who wants to lose weight THAT quickly, ought to be very motivated.

  • lmao u crack me up ..chickenpox

  • Thank you!

  • Hi! Thanks for putting that out there. I have lost, in the past 9 months, 50 lbs. I have 106 left to go to get to my goal. So i know what it takes. She may have a trainer and work out more than i do, but there is no way Janet lost that much weight that fast. Keep up the good work with the videos!!

  • Thanks. I really appreciate that. More info on my site if I haven't told you already. Please share with people who need help. Hoping to have a talk show like Oprah some day helping people better understand real weight loss.

  • Wow! first comment!... Thanks again man, your videos make it easier for regular Joes like myself to understand weight loss and dieting. Keep up the great work!
