  • If your into buying a PC, its better to build your own =/ Save your money, and get a much faster machine... I've never understood why people think branded computers are "Good" or even "Reliable", because they are not, a lot of manufacturers skimp on either video cards or motherboards, they make it look powerful with an unnecessary amount of memory... You can build your own small form factor pc for a fraction of the cost.. and you get 3 yrs warranty on pretty much everything..

  • @Yamcha67 i agree man, usually companies giv u crap for so much money, ive never built a comp but i kinda want to

  • @Yamcha67 uhh what none of that is true lol it costs MORE to build your own. You have to pay taxes on everything and companies like dell buy in bulk so they get better prices on that stuff than we do. Not to mention if something in your system goes wrong its your problem not anybody elses, you have to figure it out on your own. If you buy from dell its their problem and you can get a brand new system.

  • @YourLoveLetter Not true, I speak with experience because I build PC's all the time and its much cheaper to build a custom one then buying a branded one, especially if your buying a mid to high end PC's. Not to mention you get 3yrs warranty if not more for every part : motherboard, video card, memory, hard drive, powersupply, processor, if anything goes wrong you get a replacement.. Also Dell/Acer/Other companies skimp on hardware.. and they make it taking it apart difficult in some cases..

  • @Yamcha67 i know from experience also and that isnt true. Unless you are stealing these parts or know someone who sells them under the table for you at a discount...then you are paying more in the end. Just buying the OS alone you are paying alot more. Anything you buy from intel or microsoft you will pay a lot more for than dell does. Newegg has pretty good prices and if you wanted core i7 you would have to pay as much as a whole dell computer costs for JUST the cpu lol

  • @YourLoveLetter

Well I can get an i7 920 for $250 which dell doesn't even sell. If you think the just the CPU from newegg will cost more than a whole dell system... You're not at newegg thats all I can say haha. Also, all good subvendors like XFX and EVGA will give you double lifetime warrenty for you and the your customer. They replace it on the spot for you. It's a wonderful market. You should get into it. Dells good too but there alot of benefits in building. I own both XD

  • @Yamcha67 not always the case ,and def not when small form factors come into play

  • The newest mac mini is even smaller now with even more features. Apple just makes things look super good. PC companies make things affordable and worth buying but aren't as sleek. The metal case on the macs are just plane sexy.

  • There is a button at the back of the case which you push, and the top pops off.

  • could i run something that requires 512 mb on this

  • @jakenbake1000 Yes.

  • This is a no-brainer choice over all the Atom based nettops out there. Its significantly faster than them, uses nearly as little power, is just as quiet, even cheaper than most of them, and nearly as small.

  • sorry, but what is eSATA ports?

  • @rish134

They are used to connect external hard drives. SATA is what internal HDDs are connected with, eSATA is external SATA.

  • You need try harder to get inside the case. Press the button in the back and you can open the top cover. Remove two screws to move antenna cables for wifi and you can get in. It has a 3.5 inch Hd and two memory slot. CPU is an AM2 socket. I think you need to little more research before you a review.
