When a Democrat is in the White House, the Right goes off the deep end. And when a Republican is in the White House, they take the country off the deep end.
@Marchant2: And the left didn't go off the deep end when Bush was in the White House? Would you like a review of all the idiocy coming from the left during Bush's Presidency or can we just agree you're wrong an go on from here?
@Astro1645 Not to this extreme. You didn't see huge numbers of Democrats marching in the streets and beginning a movement that drummed the message that Bush is a socialistic communist who is out to destroy the country, even though they had just as many reasons to do so as the Republicans claim to have. You didn't see them spending $40 million on a special investigator to find ANY reason to impeach Bush. Though the Dems had just as many reasons to do that as well.
@Marchant2: Non-sense. The left didn't like Bush because he was a Republican who they believed "Stole" the election from Al Gore. There were no huge crowds because there was no huge issue. Instead the left sniped at his heels, drew Hitler mustaches and bulls-eyes on his image and whined about supposed lies without getting into much detail.
The right simply doesn't want the European style nanny state and the DMV like services Obama is thrusting, un-wanted by most, on us. It's very simple.
@Astro1645 No huge issues? OMG! In YOUR opinion, maybe. There is a valid perception not only on the left but with independents (see Bush's plunging poll #'s in this group) and pretty much the rest of the world that Bush "forced on us" an illegal war that cost the lives of literally tens of thousands of people. You may disagree, but that is a hell of a better reason to take to the streets & express hatred for a President than for giving everyone healthcare. GOP = F'd up standards of evil.
@Marchant2 There was no single big issue under Bush, many small ones OK, unless you believe the wars were illegal some how even though the Democrats voted for approval. There is no space to debate that here. However Bush was not popular with much of the right because he, like his dad governed as a progressive not a conservative. Your last "very little" comment indicates you're a left win Kool-Aide drinker, so enjoy your Kool-Aide my friend, I bet it was RED Kool-Aide, it's always RED, isn't it?
@Astro1645 I just realized I've been speaking to you on under two different videos. I'm not responding to this last one either because you make no sense to me, and I'm not a Democrat, so there goes your Kool-Aid theory. In fact, I don't support Obama.
This is pathetic. Even the tax-paid union organizations and MoveOn cannot gather the masses to overpower the American People who have spoken against tyranny!
The oral sex jokes on CNN and particularly MSNBC on teabagging they had them by the dozens. White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said the White House was "amused" by the tea parties, but that "nobody out there is making $250,000 a year" as if that were somehow relevant.
President Obama said that he was "completely unaware" of the tea party protests. How can it be that the president could be "unaware" of a grass-roots protest movement of this size and scope? Doesn't he have a TV?
Sign ideas: * Teabag me, Rush! * I'm here cuz Fox told me to. * its all the libruls fault!! (written sloppily, intentionally misspelled and mispunctuated) * Facts suck! * We'll borrow it from China. No new taxes! * This exact same bailout from McCain would be better. * Soshalizim - who cares what it means? * Like everyone here, I paid my taxes this year. * Don't bother me, I'm sleeping. * Honk if you like faux-populist, mcMedia-inspired uprisings
Actually Obama is bringing Russia to us, so don't worry you all will be happy soon. Taxes made this country great? I must have missed that paragraph in the Constitution. Please enlighten us and show us where it says that. Obama won because he promised change from the old ways. Looks like so far the only thing different is the amount of money he is spending.
Oh there's been a lot of "change" with obama, like calling war vets potential terrorists, slashing the military budget, "fixing" healthcare, "fixing" the environment, Insulting our allies, apologizing to dictators for America's arrogance, Pay caps, nationalization of entire industries....
He's probably changed this country more in 2 mos. than any other president in 8 years.
Well, I'll agree with you there. I can't say I don't agree with them a little bit. All of the corruption going on these days is being caused by the ones in charge with all the money. I don't think there's anything wrong with paying taxes because they're meant to go to programs that help people. The loopholes and provisions that went to help the rich are what caused this whole problem to happen. I'll applaud Obama for going at them though. He's very anti-lobbyist. Gotta clean up the past 8 years.
most tax revenues are mismanaged at best but the tea party's mainly protest income tax the fed and the irs all of which have been ruled unconstitutional and are illegal but are still in forced. Income tax doesn't pay for roads, schools, healthcare, or any other program to help the people that pay into the illegal system it pays the interest to the fed mainly and the rest is questionable. and as for obama you don't clean up gov corruption by illegally taking away our rights.
Certainly representative of the looney leftys...act like idiots and pretend its someone else who is to blame for their stupidity. Move On over to Russia and do your thing leave REAL Americans alone.
Move On needs to move on into obscurity!
