As someone who has had extenstive dealings with Chantal, I would like to point out a few things:

1. This is at least the 5th time she has accused someone of rape or sexual harassment, usually it is retaliation for them stealing her drugs.

2. She got on Methadone to kick a Vicadin addiction at age 17 and was on it for over 11 yrs. when she voluntarily handed over custody of her son to her sister. That is hardly a treatment program, just a legal way to get high.

I agree with you that Ms. Chatelain should not have waited to report this crime (misuse of power as her counselor), she should have let it be known as soon as it happened so Mr. Taffero could answer the accusations.

The issue is not whether or not Ms Chatelain was a fit parent or not....the issue is if Mr. Taffero did or did not misuse his power as her counselor and if this is a regular practice of his, and is he indeed fit to be our leader?
