Cool seeing that whole line around 2:26 with the consistent head movements lol, turn back to grab the can, then forward looking at the mirror to make sure it gets emptied, then back at the can. Exactly how the drivers I've watched in person do it, except they probably spend a BIT more time at each 'stage' with our ASLs hahahaha
Especially good clip around 4:59. Awesome post, always like seeing a good, smooth MJ with plenty of life left in it. Or so URM hopes being that they just got it, used..
hahaha nice video man!! loved how it turned out! ah i wish i could say that the truck is still in the same shape as it was back then. Today the tailgate shit itself and we can't get it open :( it'll be off the road for a while but great video mate!
@garbo23 Mate that would've been sweet driving the newer truck aye. When you drove the GenV, did you notice much difference from the MkIV. Least you had a hopper camera/monitor to look at instead of the mirrors.
@Sean12325 - yea mate it was pretty nice driving the gen v. only difference was joystick and the automatic pedal. and yes it was sweet to have the moniter working
Bloody awesome footage mate. Great listening to that engine. JJ Richards would be the place for me if I were to drive a SL one day. Just have to see, that signage seems to be on most of the new trucks for URM aye. Reminds me of Holroyd this truck because of high reving, though this is in daylight not early morning. Not one truck I've seen on here has ever stopped at a stop sign haha. Matt did a awesome job at driving this Iveco Acco, soon your going to be in the drivers seat being filmed haha
@rempledisposal Most of the bins shown belong to individual households - the second clip was taken outside two apartments which is why there were so many bins. Get my MR licence in November for single axles, then the year after I can go heavy duty with the full range of garbage trucks... can't wait any longer!

MitchellM15 6 months ago
gr8 vid why do urm get trucks off Sutherland council
Binboy112 6 months ago
@Binboy112 It's cheaper to buy second hand trucks from councils, instead of buying new ones
tharealsteven 6 months ago
will you be driving a sideloader when you get your truck licence?
jatho4 6 months ago
@jatho4 Oh you can bloody bet I'll be driving side loaders... but I want to experience the full range of garbage trucks.
