  • Dorchester's Massachusetts' own, Bravo! I've never heard a better rendition of this beautiful song. What power and control she has. Long may she reign!

  • Victorious, beautiful, woman of many colors. Catharsis for all.

  • muy bueno todo el mundo con argentina evita!

  • The Version by Donna Summer is just brillant!

  • FIERCE! God bless the Queen...long may she reign!

  • Other than the strange introduction this must be the best version ever of this epic song. Good on ya Donna

  • I did not expect this.

I thought it might be a joke.

I was tragically wrong and I am deeply impressed.

You pulled it off Dame Donna.

    Brava!

  • Donna has always had the most powerful vocals, she sounds even better today,

and boy can she sing high.. she gets better as time goes bye...viva la Donna...!!!!!

  • effortless.....amazing voice

  • Donna has a voice that was meant for Broadway!

  • Love you, baby!

  • she is the best!

  • This is modern classics. I never heard this before. The energy, the heroic style, very propper for this song, even the voice of Donna can be compared with those of great Edit Piaf. Simply outstanding performance.

  • Donna has a much more powerful voice than Edith Piaf.... Edith Piaf was great for her era and style, but Donna can sing just about anything.

  • That is an unfortunate conception of Edith Piaf in the U.S. She was great in her era and will remain a great figure in the history of vocal performance. The question who has more powerful voice and who can or cannot sing anything is irrelevant. It also depends on our knowledge and our perception of a singer..

  • I am not confused by language nor the style of her day. I listen to music in many different languages and styles. My current favorites are in Italian, French, Portuguese, Spanish, German, Hebrew and Arabic. I also like classical music, bagpipe music, choirs, and gospel. I have no misconceptions due to language nor style. YOU have the misconception that ALL Americans are the same and adhere 100% to your narrow views and prejudices. Edith was great - you are arguing with yourself.

  • @SWSimpson

Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you and don't think that "all Americans are the same", though I do believe that many Americans are self-centered and have little interest in the rest of the World. But it looks like you have very little in common with that type of Americans. I do wish you the very best in your musical and other endevours. I really respect you.

  • Oh, you dont' have to apologize. Stereotypes of Americans annoys me because I don't want to be lumped into the "stupid category" with a George W. No country is perfect through, but we do try (I hope). and every group has its spoilers. You probably know who Laura Fabian is and she touches me even if she sings in French or Italian. THAT is a gift, its power, its noting short of magic. I like you, by the way - and thanks!

  • Thank you for introducing me to Laura Fabiano. Yes, she is great, I liked her a lot. I like you too.

  • The Disco period left many in the wreckage of that beautiful and lethal decade of the 70's. Many artist of that era were never heard of again in a real way. Looking back, perhaps it was never meant to last. Donna Summer did managed to hold on. The music she created was part of the temple that I and others worshiped. And we who are still around to talk about, it will never keep our distance and forget her! Indeed she should have the entire world at her feet! Her voice is eternal.

  • A talent given to someone by God should last forever - it that talent is taken care of and nurtured. Donna still has a voice and will for more years to come. She and Girogio Moroder did literally change the course of music history. Donna had major successes after "disco," the biggest probaby being Hard for the Money... she has also earned Grammy awards in the Rock-N-Roll category and gospel. She is a unique and lovely talent.

  • @SWSimpson "Amen"

  • She is really good but I hate the music

  • You mean the musical arrangements of this particular song or the style of music in general that she is famous for? That concert tour was done, I believe, without an orchestra - just her band, so that may be what you mean as it has more of a rock mood to it instead of a musical theatre sound because the instruments were from a band - electric guitars and a synth.

  • her voice...soo amazing!

    she gives me goosebumps.

  • the best rendition ...by far

  • @sankes I agree.

  • Donna summer kicks ass

  • OMG Ive seen her in concert 17 times and love loved loved that she did this all through the 90's..... This has to be my FAV of all the Argentina's out there...... LOVR YA DONNA!!!!

  • Desdde Argentina, una muy interesante versión. Muy bien cantado e interpretado.

  • Rich voice. Girl needs material worthy of her instrument, such as this.

  • I hate to say it, but Donna has criminally underused her talent. Going 17 years without an album is certainly a good example of that.

She should have the entire world at her feet, instead she's content to enjoy her millions and not worry if she's dismissed as nothing more than the "Disco Queen."

  • Nicholas -- You're absolutely right. She should do a Broadway show. she and Tom Jones never . . . make that seldom . . . produced material worthy of their voices. she has the looks, the voice. Why be coy with such a gift?

  • Maybe she doesn't want the pressure and attention. Could be she's happy doing what she's doing!
