@strongo25 No, I didn't have to remove any components. I had to see-saw the wii back and forth to get the coins in the correct slot to tilt the coins with a small screwdriver to make them fall out.

board from my broken drive ,, so that i will have a drive in my onld wii that can read burned discs ,but im not sure if my old non d2e drive board will work in a drive that i take out of a brand new wii , i want to uy a brand new wii ,emove the drive ,then remove the drive board from the new drive ,and put the drive board from my droken drive in it cause that is froma drive that could read burned discs,so will i be able to or do he new drives not work with the old boards?

and also ihave another question, ok i have a broken dvd drive ,it wont read any discs but it is an old non d2e drive that can read backups,so i want to save the drive board,but my question is this, if i buy a new wii then can i put my old drive board in the drive that comes in the new wii? or will the old board not fit or not work in a newer drive? or do i have to ,or should i replace the laser in it instead?i want to mod my old wii,but change the drive to a new orking one 1st but with the old

thats good for you cause you prolly know what screws go wherean what the screws look lke, but putting all the scres ina cup is not smart i dont think, cause then when the screws need to go back in how will youknow which srews came out of which holes? i assume that they are not all interchangeable because im sur they are all different lengths and thicknesses too maybe ,and som are tri wing and someare phillips ,so yea verry bad idea
