  • This scene actually symbolizes karma. If you understand split universe theory as i do. Choices create a alternate reality. All of these realities exist within the same moment. This is why when Neo is asked a question, all the screens answer at the same time. They are the possible choices. However because Neo is "one" or at peace, or has reached that level of spirituality, they cannot predict his answers. Basically all of the choices join together once you are on the correct path.

  • We already live in the matrix...our job is to see beyond it and not be silly enough to believe we have free will by being presented with choices THEY give to us.

  • why would the machines want to destroy THEN re build Zion?

    IT'S A TRAP!

  • colonel sanders - the kernel ?

  • @eojadiius LOL

  • @WhiplashNinja haha

  • @SolarOfCore just a mud lover

  • @SolarOfCore u must live in some matrix if u like niggers...couldn't b the real world u live in lol

  • It's not just about Trinity. The only choice the architect offers is continued enslavement or death, but Neo rejects both believing that mankind can still be free. Death was an assumed risk all along, so it's an easy decision for him. He chooses his free will and his humanity over subjugation to the machines.

  • fuck zion it's full of niggers. machines ftw

  • The Bullets aren't real :o

  • I love all the Neos on the tvs, so much more personality than he lets on

  • Colonel Sanders is an actor too? small world...

  • This scene made the movie worth watching...

  • ergo...concordently...

  • Even Einstein needs a thesaurus for this...

  • is there a video with a normal fucking volume

  • "I am the Colonel. Ergo, Vis a Vis, Concordently, eleven herbs and spices....

  • @SimonB198207 lol hilarious

  • No talking: just punching.

If I was Neo that is...

  • Everybody loves the Colonel's chicken

  • this is the most funniest scene ever!..this guy remains me of "kernel sanders" KFC chicken man..lol.. not to mention, the everminding talk his gives to neo..very funny!

  • @iL0VEwomensfeet Its only the funniests to fucking idiots like you, fuckng fagget

  • @loismlsx hahahaha..typical stupid faggot ass moron making retarded insults to people on youtube!

whats wrong? you found out that your mother and father adopted you because your real parents didnt want to raise your little retarded bitch such as you!

Tell your mom, i'll fuck her mouth in the Matrix!

  • @loismlsx =

  • Neo: "who are you?"

    Architect: "I... am your father"

  • Neo: I dare you to say that again. I double dare you.

  • out of synch

  • Awful soundtrack, dodgy action scenes and some horrific dialogue ruin what is, in fact, the best sci-fi narrative of our time. This film could easily have been Empire Strikes Back times a gazillion in terms of plot turns and pathos. But it was ruined by muttered garbage delivery and TV soap editing. Heartbreaking.

  • @TerryMalick True. These films COULD have been an incredible journey. Instead of expanding on the great ideas in the first film, they went for the slow-motion gunfights and explosions. And the lame messianic religious overtones left me feeling like I was watching a cult indoctrination film. They could have really explored human consciousness and the systems of control using our instincts and psychology against us. John Carpenter's "They Live" did it better WITHOUT the digital fireworks.

  • @mindstormsabrewin but dude that is why I love the plot of Reloaded - it's pure atheist. The myth of "The One" is shown as being another layer of control. That's a potent plot twist ruined by dildos delivery.

  • @TerryMalick But Neo was always the The One. There have always been other "ones" for different "realities". So really it's a double truth. The prophecy is just the manner in which it can be practically propagated to the masses. In the end, Neo ends up being "the greatest of the ones" and breaks the cycle. That's the whole point of Revolutions.

Neo proves the architect wrong at the very end. The Oracle badgers the architect in the last scene of revolutions because he was proven wrong.

  • dr. Vinton Cerf

  • Quick question.....were the other "One's" different people or were they all Thomas Andersons's(Keanu Reeves)? Anyone got an idea, I'm guessing they have all been different but it is confusing me.

  • @bbutters2 As I see it...NEO is a Virus/Trojan in the Matrix, which resulted in a Crash of the Matrix in 6 previous versions. It's like a repertition of a time line.(groundhog day) In this time line NEO seems to wise up to what is happening, even though the "Architect" coldly tells him it is futile to try to stop what has always happened in the 6 previous versions of Matrix, in which zion was destroyed. NEO is like a reincarnation of the ONE but each version grows wiser. All are still NEO. imo

  • @Kristopful You mean all are still Thomas Andersons's exactly, like they all looked like Keanu's Thomas Anderson, or they were different looking in appearance?

  • @bbutters2 Your record got stuck. You know the answer to your question.

  • Neo is greater than chuck norris ...

  • This scene is, among other things, is about man's selfishness. When given the choice to save a lot of people or a loved one, most people would choose a loved one. Not to mention, you know how many people Neo just killed in the Matrix resulting in their real world death in this scene. All the cars and buildings he destroyed with his powers must have killed many people. This scene is much darker than what is shown on the surface!

  • @bbutters2 u right man lol thats cool

  • @Ax3ln3ri Am I right or what, I picked up on it after trying to dissect this scene because so many people hate it, without even attempting to give the Arch and Neo's conversation a label of anything other than gibberish, I don't know exactly what all the dialogue stands for but this scene is dark as hell regardless of if you hate it or not. Thanks for the compliment bro. He killed at least some people in the Matrix while rescuing his loved one!

  • @bbutters2

    loved one everytime.

  • @bbutters2 Wrong, wrong, wrong, it's also about a man's refusal to perpetuate the cycle of slavery and delusion. If he'd accepted his pre-ordained role, nothing would have changed. This way, not only does he save his lover, he takes a chance of having things turn out in a new and better way despite the Architect's assurances that everyone will be killed. He also proved himself unique by taking a risk none of the others did.

Hope: it wasn't just about saving Trinity, it was hope for everyone.

  • @Eldritchfan I said "among other things".

No need for "wrong, wrong, wrong".

  • @bbutters2 SOrry, just noting there were more implications than the personal.

  • ...do you guys ever get the feeling that Youtube is just a way for smart people to feel smarter, with long intellectual comments that will spark dumber comments and other preposterous details? You know, that kind of imposing, perhaps condescending top-rated comment that tries to make your question yourself by giving you a paragraph to skim through, making it appear very important? Like going to a Matrix video and talking about why "Religion doesn't matter" just to knock on the film's core?

  • I mean sample my thinking. While I strive to have a top-rated comment that people approve of (Face it, you do), if I paste words FROM a video there are those who believe I am being unoriginal. Copying is "frowned upon" by the arrogant, who gain popularity by taking a stance against conformity while implicating others need to conform to their standard. If I make a solid argument, am I coming off any less original? By simply "putting the scene" into my own offensive words?

  • I mean, doesn't it just annoy you when someone goes out of their way to compare the Matrix to one massive existential argument and drag it into real world stereotypes? Or play the Lord of the Rings as the last Presidential election played out in medieval times? Or rhetoric about how an atheist film character was only put through such-and-such because the film itself promotes organized religion? Don't these acts of "anti-bigotry" count equally AS "bigotry"?

  • @Momentum139 It's just how people interpret things that interest them, and what interests a person will change over time. I've never heard of a work of art (which includes films) where the creator(s) insisted there was only one way to interpret it correctly. Art is a means to wake people up and get them thinking about things they wouldn't otherwise notice, or think differently about things they do notice. And since people have a need to relate it's natural to make comparisons to things they know

  • @Momentum139 Although the matrix is just a movie, it does present plenty of viable philosophical questions/scenarios in which are in fact relevant in reality. For instance the Matrix is almost a retelling of Plato's allegory of the cave. You can actually interpret the same fundamental message from both works of art. I am not saying the Matrix is a philosophical marvel, but it is a conscious, intellectual, and meaningful movie as well as purely entertaining.

  • @Momentum139 You lost me with this talk of religion. Is this just an example or are you saying the matrix promotes organized religion? Because if you do then I do not see that connection with religion...at all really. I mean perhaps one could muster up a half-assed interpretation of machines rising above man, false reality, and predestination but I wouldn't dare call that the focus of the movie so much as an unrelated underlying theme.

  • @Momentum139 Totally!

  • @Momentum139 No...I think true intellectuals do not care about "getting the top rated comment" because they realize nobody really gives a shit. I think youtube is a place where idiots try and sound smarter than other people to nullify there own insecure feelings. Also I literally have never once felt a desire to have a top rated comment unless I made a joke or something, usually when I comment it is because I am bored, hope to edify someone, or to ask a question.

  • @bbutters2 I disagree. The Architech Clearly Says there have been 5 others faced with the Same Choice and they All Choose the Re-insert thier code into the Matrix. Neo is the First to Defer.

That's Why he Lauged when Neo mentions "Oracle" Because she can't really see the future, she has just seen the choices and consequences repeating themselve evertime the Matrix was restarted. This is why she couldnt tell anything beyond his Choice not to re-insert, but cause all other's before neo have

  • @bbutters2 Do you even understand this movie at all? If he chose to kill Trinity, EVERYONE ON ZION WOULD DIE.

  • @iTosh123 Not fully, still trying to grasp all these fancy terminologies found in this conversation, sorry Neo, you are God.

  • @iTosh123 Yeah well, you are right about Zion being destroyed, but you forgot to mention that saving Trinity, according to the Architect, would have killed everyone connected to the Matrix as well who are humans, that would mean Neo is responsible for their deaths. So Neo was aware of this and still saved Trinity and not the people in the Matrix who are human beings as well. So please explain what this scene means, I am having trouble with it, honestly, can you explain it to me?

  • @bbutters2 i think it doesn't matter if he killed the people in the matrix , because (according to the movie) they are almost dead (i.e. contained in these oval shaped rooms generating energy for the machines) ! only the ones given the red pills are living the real life , and the ones who born afterwards. Saving Trinity is much more important not only because Neo loves her , but also because she's living freely in the real world. I know it's hard to understand the movie sometimes ..

  • @bbutters2 Wow you are so WRONG

this scene is about how all possibilities of CHOICE actually exist within the same moment..

  • Nope, still don't understand.

  • @Twilleh o dear :/

  • Theres insanity and then theres things you dont understand

  • I saw my chance so i flew straight up only to grabed from behind by micheal to tell me , its not my time as i saw the symbols so i shook myself to return to this deminsion. So here i am. 3 Trinity !

  • Who jacked Trinity in or how did Trinity jack in? Can Zionites self-jack(hilarious) or does someone have to jack them in? I'm baffled!!

  • I'm confused can someone please explain-

Is the architect a representation of a machine in the real world or he is just a program, but no the machines made the matrix and therefore the programs as well, please someone help me, it is killing me!

  • @bbutters2 The machines also have artificial intelligence, which means they're run by software, just like your ipod. iPod is a hardware device run by software. Like your body is meat and bones run by your mind. The machines created the system of using human beings for sustenance, and the architect created and recreated the matrix several times, which means that he's a program.

  • @Daimionidas I get it a little more now! Thanks.

  • Can anyone say Uber-Mensch!

  • lol I still don't understand how people don't understand what the Architect is talking about. Watching it a few times is all you need to really understand everything.

  • with some sort of irony, all of this metaphore is not so far from what you experience in this world. Sooner or later, all the consecuences from the actions in your life reach you, no matter if they do one minute before you die, or if they do when you are five years old; when it happens your mind enter in some kind of reflective state (or reflections). In some way this is the time when you understand clearly what you have to do...again, if you are a 80 years old fart, i had to say its to late....

  • ...which is non other than a probabilistic measure control to predict the actions of the individuals (again, everything is about control). Once the levels of chaos are restored the one has no other use other than return all the "energy" produced by the chain of eventualities. For that to happen, the one is threaten by the choice of saving the human race if he return to the source (the machines main computer). ...

  • What the machine tried to explain is that for the current system to work there has to be an anomally, an explicit chain of uncertain events that sink all consecuences over a single individual. This annomally is a systemic strategy to solve two problems: the control of those individuals who doesnt accept the system at some point of their existence, and consecuently the illusion of a valid world for those who accept it. Those who accept the world are bound with the concept of "choice"....

  • hell fuckin yes!!! lol

  • how long are the cycles?

  • Architect was right. He and Neo never met a second time.

  • In order to use the humans to harvest energy they must remain alive and mentally active, which is why the machines created the matrix, for the human race to live in. This means they can remain mentally active while posing no danger to the machines at all. The Architect at first created a perfect matrix, a paradise, but the human mind refused to accept it. He tried a second version which was "more in-tune with the grotesqueries of human nature", ie. The opposite of a paradise, but the human mind

  • @PainlessTragedy lol You go 911 out of the matrix?

  • Here's my explanation:

Each TV is Neo in a past life where he experienced the same exact conversation. In each past life Zion is about to get to get destroyed by the machines and Neo has to make a choice. The choice whether to destroy the Matrix which will kill everyone connected to it and the machines, or save Trinity. And each time, as you could see, he chose Trinity. Even though as the Architect said, she'd die anyway. That's why Smith says, "Its inevitable."

  • @TheAfricanKing55 I thought the previous neos chose to save zion. With the survivors they help rebuild it after it gets destroyed. The architect said this particular Neo was different and so chose a different choice.

  • @brianng999 He did. he chose to save Zion and The Matrix at the same time.

  • @TheAfricanKing55 I thought the previous neos chose to save zion. With the survivors they help rebuild it after it gets destroyed. The architect said this particular Neo was different and so chose a different choice.

  • doctor breen someone??

  • Ol arc picked da wrg one

    ta mess wit

     that simple simon schmuck only

know how to deal wit sheep

    neva dealt wit deep

  • the architect has very high self esteem....

  • In other words if you refuse to conform to todays standard of "I" phones or family guy you are a glitch in the matrix..This movie is an accurate depiction of todays life, with the pararell worlds or TECHNOLOGY... People FAIL to grasp ahold of REAL or FAKE and remain in a suspended state of refusing responsibilty of all actions..

  • so basically... The machines created the Matrix, couldn't overcome human choice, so they created a process to make this a cycle, now up to the 6th time; Destroy Zion, let them repopulate, and destroy them again. Seriously Architect, is it THAT hard to say that? We don't need 5 minutes blabbing about the seriousness of choice... Preach to somebody who cares...

  • 2:15

  • When it comes to the choice the Architect offered Neo of saving Trinity or saving Zion, the Architect was lying, we know this because Neo chose to save Trinity and Zion wasn't destroyed. This makes me think the Architect was hoping that Neo would go back to Zion and the machines would have total control over the human race again i.e. a new Matrix due to Neo rebuilding Zion and the Architect starting over on building a new Matrix where the machines would try to perfect the Matrix.

  • @bbutters2 The Architect didnt knew what is going to happen because Neo`s 5 predecesors had chosen door to the right. He had some theories of Zion, destroyed with larger force, but he couldnt possibly know what will be with the Matrix, which was overrun with Neo`s negative Smith. So in theory Architect was right about destruction of human race because he couldnt predict that Neo will still go to Source but not through Matrix, because he will need to make a Deal with the machine boss.

  • @hostihugen And yes, the Architect hoped for "Source right away" option, because this was the way he and Oracle created Matrix functioning. Every anomaly (Neo) would eventualy be guided by Oracle to the Architect, and every time Architect would direct them to Source, to restart the main program. Going through door number 2, clouded the Architect mind even for a second of going things out of control.

  • @hostihugen The other reason for Neo chosing door number 2, was Oracle`s chess play. Five Neo predecesors were not in love, so the Oracle put that in motion when she said Trinity that she will fall in love with The One, knowing that people within Morpheus gang are believe in miracles. Oracle did that because it got bored over time for status quo is not changing, she wanted to unbalance things, her mission was to find a solution, not to hold control. Oracle is inventive program.

  • Architect: You know why are you're here

Me: Yes, I'll have a twister meal please Colonel Sanders.

    Architect: -gets my meal-

Me: I hope this is toasted.

Architeck: Hope. it is the quintessential human delusion.

  • That yelling and swearing at the camera is Keanu Reeves' best performance to date.

  • I have a different matter to consider. At 4:45 the Architect says "This'll be the sixth time we have destroyed it" - refering to Zion case. Analyzing what he said later i got two conclusions:

1.Both worlds- the matrix and real world with Zion- are just fake and closed in a Bigger Matrix. It sounds bit silly but it's logic - Matrix needs imperfection, 3 times it fucked up, so they made a fake "real world" and pseudo "matrix" with a reboot "The one" in case it'll fuck up again

  • Comment removed

  • @Jamrozio87

    2. Is much more simple - the real world date is far far beyond suspected 2199 a.d ( as Morpheus told Neo in first movie afeter hes awakening). Thats becuase the Zion was rebuilded at least 3 times

  • "she is going to die and there is nothing you can do to stop it" destiny

  • "Not without ... control" ... he knows neo is coming, so he says he can control, to a degree what happens... this is why he defines the choices as "save trinity" or "kill everyone"... this is a lie, but it is his assertion of control. He presents a false choice. Neo either sees through the ruse or decides that he wants to save trinity, screw the human race. That's what it is. He picks the right card, despite the stacked deck. moral: same as devils advocate: freewill it is a bitch.

  • @aldousd666: yes I'm replying to my own post, but I have to say, I'm disappointed that the 'answer' has been such a mundane thing as 'people == awesome because they're imperfect' but alas, that's what it meant. I shouldn't expect profundity from scifi I guess. Especially when they cast a guy whose greatest and most memorable line is "Whoa" (seconded by "i know kung fu"

  • @aldousd666 what about the corridor i think in the eygiptian times there was an corridor that was quit similar to the one in the matrix. where do you think the other doors lead to. do you think that this architect only controls this world (matrix) do you think there is some corridor like that in real life?

  • @aldousd666 what about the corridor i think in the Egyptian times there was an corridor that was quit similar to the one in the matrix. where do you think the other doors lead to. do think that this architect only controls this world (matrix) do you think there is some corridor like that in real life?

  • I know its not the funniest thing in the world but I still love George Carlin spoofing this in Scary Movie 3.

"... She vibrates... I call her Linda."

  • This dudes IQ is like 500 or something

  • I understood 95% of what he said, you people need to go to school and get an education

  • LINDA

  • awesome vocab

  • did anyone else not understand a word of this?

  • up to this motherfucking day this individual who dresses like Colonel Sanders still confound me with his high fallutin Esperanto linguistics!

  • the line at 5:22 is what i'm talking about. smith wasn't an issue at this time. the architect clearly stated the stakes of neo's choice and he chooses to return to the matrix and only part 2 of the outcome (atack on zion) happens. the first part is forgotten in revolutions and replaced with the smith virus crap.

  • THEY WERE RELATED ! Both the destruction of zion AND the extermination of all humans was going to happen according to the architect in the second movie. By the third however, the"system crash" was forgotten and the stake was just zion now.

the smith virus is what's unrelated, those two i said earlier in the post ARE. Unless of course the architect lied.

  • @romaggot

No they are only realted in that they will if they end, together cause the death of humanity, the matrix is a compter fantasy world, zion is in the real world, the destruction of either is unrelated, the matrix the machines do not touch it will just crash at some point, zion they actively invade and seek to destroy. They are not related at all.

Either way neo goes to the robot city within the 24 hours you go on about. P.S It wasn't the archtect that stopped zion being destroyed.

  • @099749 the destruction of both of them is clearly stated by the architect, since they are very much related as they are 2 parts of the same outcome=the death of all humans. i never said he was the one who stopped the siege on zion. you seem to not understand where i'm coming from. smith wasn't that much of a threat at the time neo made the choice to screw humanity over (and just keep trinity). lucky for him, the system crash was forgotten by the writers and we're left with zion in revolutions

  • @romaggot

You have my answer to the first part, No your wrong! no you are!

As for smith he had absorbed most people by the time neo left the architech, either way the problem of him was ever increasing. The system crash is not forgotten, neo returns to the sourse, after dealing with smith and within the 24 hours.

The architect can say what ever he wants, he's just a program that has no say about outside.

  • "There are levels of survival we are prepared to accept."---EPIC

  • I wish everyone could talk like the Architect.

  • to this DAY I dont know what this nigga chatting! a decade ago, I thought this whole bit was some kind of mystic proverb, and that one day it would all make sense. Well nope its complete gobledigooke. same goes for the scene with old fella when they talk about machines. bollocks the lot of it

  • @PeterZeeke Try to imagine this conversation as between human and destiny...then you may get some sense out of it...

About talk of machines, its like we are getting more and more dependent on machines for simple simple stuff..if this continues, it wont be a day of surprise if someone cant even find out without help of calculator how much 2+2 will be..?

  • @deshmukhsarang

I was kinda joking. the speech is very ott, but I get it. as much as people attack the two sequels little bits like this have stuck in my mind for ten years so there must be something there ;)

  • @deshmukhsarang

:-) yeah the power runs out and people say 'How do we do anything?'

  • @deshmukhsarang

Actually the machines stand for the monetary system and our dependence on it.

  • @Nonterastor very true...

  • @Nonterastor Matrix movies talked about a lot but I didn't think the monetery system was something they focused on :S

  • @kira1280

    You think? Watch this: /watch?v=mII9NZ8MMVM&feature=related

    Or: /watch?v=4Z9WVZddH9w

That said,i am talking about the first matrix movie.

The second on third are just adressing spiritual problems but not the real problem of brainwashing like the first(and best) Matrix.

  • @Nonterastor good vids :) I'm not saying I disagree with the message, I just saw the first matrix as a film on the concept of control rather than on the concept of control people via capitalism directly ><

  • @kira1280 The focus of the movies is basically dependancy on systems, monetary and governmental, the brain washing is embedded within the matrix itself where people dont know what's going on in the "real world". It's a very general theme and I doubt it's focusing on capitalism, since fascism and nationalism etc fall into the same category.

  • @deshmukhsarang The number 23 phenomena is Neo and the number 23 are connected by where The Architects(God's) will and the Oracles(Earth's) will connecting unbeknown against their will which became known at the unconscious level of consciousness which came to be known as the anomaly, I hoever have concluded that the number 23 is recognized in the human terms as being a 5 sided being having a 6th side.

23 correlates to me once I ascend then I will become more than just human I'll become sentient

  • @DanteSparda08 sorry to say, but i did not get from where number 23 came to picture..??

  • @deshmukhsarang It's an old theory in things like numerology and astrology where EVERYTHING on Earth, sentient or not, plant or animal, human or machine, can SOMEHOW and SOMEWAY be related to or broken down into the number 23. Look it up.

  • @PeterZeeke

No, the ones purpose is to correct any problems with the program that stem from choice, neo chooses the destruction of the whole human race, rather than to live enslaved, so the machines ect that and then allow those that awake to be freed and peace between them, finally after the centuries of war. as he states later 'how long do you think this peace will last?' a serious question as some people will refuse to except seeing others enslaved in the matrix. maybe.....

  • @099749 except the cataclysmic system crash never occured once neo chose to return to the matrix...only the attack on zion did. so the architect was bs'ing neo.

  • @romaggot

The destruction of zion and the crashing of the matrix, were in progress. Smith was spreading with neos absence, on neo stating that he would sort out smith in exchange for peace, the machine agreed stoped fighting in zion waiting for the results of neos endevour, he won, the machine honoured the peace agreement and left zion. The Architech wasn't bsing neo, zion was being attacked as he said it.

It's beautiful, neo actually was the 'one' by providence, he choose to go to machines

  • @099749 zion WAS attacked, but the architect said that if neo doesnt return to the source, the human race will be extinct, because zion will be destroyed AND there will be a system crash. word it anyway you want, but neo chose to return to the matrix and the focus became on zion...the system crash was left high in the air.

the whole smith virus was another plot point, unrelated to the system crash that NEO should have caused by not listening to the architect and choosing trinity over humantity

  • @romaggot

If neo had not gone to the machines and agreed with them, to stop Smith, zion would have been wiped out.

The machines plan was for neo to agree with them, have zion destroyed, the matrix rebooted, and neo to choose a group of people from the matrix to be freed and then re-inhabit zion after it's destruction. Smith changes everything, if he had been left all the machines would have become smith, in exchange for stopping him they agree to peace and zion is left and the attack stopped

  • @099749 that happens AFTER the choice that neo makes, which is to basically screw humanity because of trinity. this is a major plot point, as neo (and the writers) disregard this goof and revolutions starts with only zion at stake, and NOT the whole human race as the architect said.

  • @romaggot

With neos choice, the machines are left to consider, he choose humanities death, over slavery, to continue and finish the war. That is an american slogan 'death before slavery'. Neo choose that.

it is sure as the first matrix was destroyed, the machines could start again, and release the babies growing into a new system, but the matrix was the best they had, and neo showed it flawed again. The crash only happens if neo diddnt return to the sourse, how much time till crash isnt said

  • @099749 if we play the time game, neo says in revolution that zion will be destroyed in 24 hours because he didn't return to the source. architect said that zion will be destroyed either way (DIDN'T give a timeframe)+the system crash which you seem to be also avoiding :)

  • @romaggot

The destruction of zion isnt related to the crash of the matrix. The matrix crash happens at some point if neo does not return to the sourse, it's a computer crash. The destruction of zion was going to happen either way, neo returning to the sourse or not.

By neo getting a peace agreement zion is saved.

  • @romaggot cont....

So on neo leaving the architech we do not know how long it will be for the matrix to crash, either way neo returns to the sourse after stopping smith.

  • @PeterZeeke cont....

Maybe after some agreement they could clean up the sky, release everyone from the matrix but leave it as a play ground with mutual benefits and go back to a time before the war started, when the machines tried for peace at the U.N and failed. Getting there tho would be a tight rope.

  • @PeterZeeke

Just as an add on neo cant die, the matrix wont let him. I think you should watch them all again.

  • @PeterZeeke

Final statement: The merovingian mr cause and effect, likes the staus quo and will potencially lose things with the revamp that happens each time the one fulfills his purpose which is why he is against neo getting the keys.

  • @PeterZeeke cont.... forgot to say also the mr cause and effect, seeing that neo doesn't know, would risk even more should he just hand the key maker over.

  • @PeterZeeke

Will say finally after listening again that the architech is full of it, 'Perfection' what a joke. The orginal matrix can only be perfect in relation to it's purpose, so nice try but he's just stupid.

  • @099749

    ...

    anything else?

  • @PeterZeeke

There is lots I could write about this story but It's nice to allow people their own interpritations.

Personally I think there are many possibilities for another film, and a different type of matrix.

  • @099749 This conversation is about masturbation.

  • @KnowoneWasHere

    umm you wanna contribute?

  • @099749

I like your take on things, didnt get this tho:

"so the machines ect that and then allow those that awake to be freed and peace between them, finally after the centuries of war"

plus where did you get that Neo cant die, I think he can. I think its smith that prevents him from dying

  • @PeterZeeke

The machine except that and then allow those that awake to be freed. therefore no more 'one' they are just freed and the mahines except that, so these freed people will live outside the matrix with the others, peace they will not fight, peace what neo asked for inexchange for dealing with smith.

People live outside, others that do not wake up stay in the matirx, humans and robot live in peace.

Neo cant die he has his function to fulfil, the system wont let him- so brings him back.

  • @PeterZeeke

Ofcourse neo cant die in the matrix he can die outside it, but as with the incident with the robots that attacked him, his mind was thrown by them into the train station, to save his code, 'the ones code' the machine work together in that, the one has his function, if he died outside the matrix the code he carried would be lost and his function would be impossible to fulfill. They could return his dead body to the sourse if found + ok

The closest he came to dying was with smith.

  • @PeterZeeke If you knew the slightest thing about how computers and algorithms work you would see it, theoretically makes perfect sense. As it is also hinted in the start: It's a question of mathematics.

  • @ArtOfWobbling

I get it really, but i dont know why he keeps throwing in the ergo's and visa vi's

  • @PeterZeeke Because it's concise and thus how a computer would talk? ^^

  • @PeterZeeke lol mang i love how u call him nigga when he's superwhite :D

  • @PeterZeeke

He talks about computer science, psychology, philosophy, mathematics (mostly in terms of computer science). Learn more about those (especially how the subjects relate to one another) and you'll understand this conversation.

  • @PeterZeeke - You might try a minor in Philosophy, there is much a Socrates, Plato, Aristotle, the arguments between European Rationalists and British Empiricism, Kant, Nietzsche, Kierkegaard, Deconstruction, Taoism, Hinduism, Deconstruction, Process Philosophy, and at last might try reading after you have learned the rest - "Metaphysics & The Idea of God" by Pannenberg. Then have some experience in programming (PCs) to be able to comprehend the level of conversation you have just discovered.

  • @PeterZeeke Short version: If too many people in the Matrix disbelieve that it's real at the same time, it causes a glitch, which ruins it. The machines intentionally gave Neo special abilities in order to make him feel heroic. This feeling of heroism is supposed to eventually turn into a Messiah complex, as he believes he is somehow special. He is then supposed to go on to "free" the people who disbelieve that the Matrix is real, and concentrate them in Zion. The machines then kill them off.

  • @fiatfrequency

Thats actually very conscise, the whole hero complex is something new. Dont know abot the machines "giving" eo abilities tho, I thought they couldnt prevent it so tried to contain it, although, them giving him abilities makes perfect sense also

  • @PeterZeeke To my understanding, they always intended for Neo to win against the Agents and other obstacles, even if the Agents themselves didn't know it. They were probably told to contain him even though the Architect knew that they'd lose, and after defeating them, Neo would feel *that* much more powerful because nobody else could perform the same feats. His false victories were there to make him feel as though he was in control, when in truth, everything was engineered to go his way.

  • @fiatfrequency True ! its already been planed as we see how former Bush lead to Obama has the next has already been chosen

  • @fiatfrequency Neo won in the end though. He beat the matrix, the machines (sort of; more of a truce), and the virus agent smith who took the machines by surprise.
