@starwarsnerd100 It was never a message. They wanted Pandora to teach Kratos Hope & Forgiveness to give him a more Humane side as opposed to the "kill first, no questions" style he's known for. Also if you recall from the 1st God of War, Kratos says "The Gods of Olympus have abandoned me, now there is no hope." Kinda' cool because it's like he had no hope in God of War 1 but in God of War 3, he finally embraces hope.
