so i just got an x pole x pert and it is sooo slippery. i cant even climb up and stay on it i slide right off.. i have put lotion and even spit (eww) on but it doesn't do anything the pole itself is to slick. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated cuz it was too much money to just pack back up.. thanx guys!!
@MariaLuv369 Yeah, putting the lotion on a pole is just going to make it slicker. It is advised not to even wear lotion during pole usage since the pole needs to grip to your skin. I would go out and find some "Mighty Grip" in your area or find it online. A trick that I like to use if you can't get ahold of it is to use hairspray. Spray some on and rub it in until it's dry... This helps with the grip alot but be sure to clean it off when you're done so your pole won't be icky. Hope this helps!
