  • is this what acctulaly happiz in Danmark?

  • @MorbidDeath73 hahaha!!! No, not even a little bit.

  • @RebekkaGram but why wholwd they do this video?

  • @MorbidDeath73 It's a parody. They exaggerates. Yes, we have some different dialects, but it's not nearly as bad as this.

  • @RebekkaGram well its tiriblu conficazing as the matter of pentragatation :)

    all hail the almighty pesnis!

  • "We're being fucking fools... Fucking Fools We Are Being!!"

  • Silly that it is discussed that wherever Danish or Norwegian are taken from English or not .. who cares? watch the video and have fun =)

  • I'm gonna be fucked and not in the good way. I speak English natively and when I try to pronounce written Norwegian, it is quite a task for me to accomplish. I am slowly learning that when there is a G in the middle of the word it is normally silent and also that a D at the end of a word is usually silent also. But I have no idea how confusing it is going to be for me to learn to speak Danish after I learn Norwegian. It is easier for me to pronounce things in Dutch. Strange, isn't it?

  • Comment removed

  • Danish is scandinavias french difficult but beautiful :)

  • @Amstrup77 I think so too. Spoken Danish reminds me French a lot. Beautiful languagues both.

  • 1:14

  • Where's my 1000 litres of milk?

  • lmao Danish is the New Norwegian? how is that possible? I tried speaking Norwegian but they say I sound too Swedish in Norwegian so I made a Swedish video and its just right

  • Tbh the only thing more Phath

  • HAHAHAHA! Im Dansih! and this is perfect! Our language succkkksss. we're talking like we puke. Danish is a puke language. I wish i was Norwegian.. :(

  • @TIMESHIFTPWNER1 I love your language. The way it undulates is nice. Especially the way someone talks when they are excited. When in doubt... Listen to Dutch.

  • @TIMESHIFTPWNER1 No, not at all! Danish is truly awesome in my option, if I could I would marry a dane, it's such a sexy language. x')

Of course Norwegian is really awesome too.

(But swedish is like "Jag dör"-feeling. Swedish is so awesome that you'll probably die and then wake up again and then die again! :o)

  • @383woyen he knows idiot, hes qouting the film stupidass

  • kamelåså?

  • kamelåså?

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Denmark! Swedish sounds freaking weird, and so do norwegian! But hey that doesnt mean we all cant be friends :')

  • @Mollelarsson The only one that sounds weird is Danish, seriously your'e talking with a Apple in the throat and norwegian and swedish "DON'T do that. Back to earh human...

  • Comment removed

  • @Mollelarsson

Nej, it's danish that sounds wierd, you stupid danskjävel.♥

Of course we can all be friends, and thats just awesome! I've got an idea. If we try to take over the world with LEGO, IKEA and... Oil or fish! :D (What do Norway have...?) *evil laughter*

    From Sverige with love ♥

  • @Ellja7 Were you mocking Norway? I couldn't hear you over my barrel of oil ;)

  • @MissSelmaSongs I can't hear you over IKEA neither. ;)

Accually I'm going to Norway soon. Beautiful, beautiful Norge. :D

  • @Ellja7 Like brands? We have Telenor and Statoil. BTW we discovered North-America, the south pole and the north pole... We have also the 3 most known painting in the world the scream, What have the Swed's done for the world except cheap furniture?

  • @heha1309

Nah, we're just awesome. :D (And make cheap furniture! :D)

  • HAHA it sounds freakin´ epic! :)

Lolz´d my ass off (yes, i´m a dane myself! :))

  • Am I the only one here, who tries to understand what they say, when they talk 'danish'?

  • The problem with the danish language, is that the younger generation replaces alot of danish words with english :( to bad after my opinion :i

  • I actually find it easier to read Danish than to speak it and I've only had one lesson so far! It's not that way with other languages I've tried. But I still don't know what his computer screen said.

  • haha så jävla roligt! och sant..

  • Now i know why alot of Danes know English.

  • Why don't they speak English to each other?

  • @adamk171 Why should they? A lot of English words actually come from Danish ;)

  • @FrisoLustig Incorrect. -Some- words in -some- parts of England derrive from Old East Norse, which Danish again derrives from.

Also, when a Danish man speaks it sounds as if he's choking on a big potato. I wonder if they're aware.

  • @FrisoLustig yeah and alot of those words danish words came from germany

  • @Ryuulinh that was fucked alot of those danish word*

  • @FrisoLustig

...It is mainly the other way around

  • @Frizzi95 nope.....though old English had - like old Dutch - lot of similarities with the former northern German languages.

However, after French and Dutch, Danish has the most influence in the current English language (sorry I don't have a source but as I have read this somewhere, I am sure this is true;) ).

  • @FrisoLustig

Sure maybe Danish has influenced English a lot but there is no way it has influenced more than French

  • @FrisoLustig Norwegian too you know... for example York is called York because of the Norwegians who took it over called it Jorvik

  • de lyder helt åndsvage med den dialekt!

  • Geez thats a thick accent.

  • haaa i love itt

it really sounds like danish! ...except...it doesnt mean anything... :P

  • LOL this is fucking hillarious!

  • That's strange, confusing, but kinda funny :) I rather go to Finland, anyway...Perkele!

  • Norweigan is cute and sometimes beautiful. Danish is hard and they just mumble.

    Anyway. Go Scandinavia ^-^

  • @MsSwedenRock That's why we enjoy poking at the danes for it. Written it's quite similar to norwegian(bokmål), but as soon as they start talking with their guttural sounds and soft consonants.. Besides, it has been decided that swedish girls speaking is the most beautiful, so be proud of that!

And for my danish brothers, that was a somewhat exaggerated joke. :p

  • @merlechmoose don't tell me i have soft consonants, when they're pretty much non-existent when you guys talk.

  • 1.23: "berre åddeå skydde lydde å, mebe?"

  • I Like my languages and will always use it.

men ellers er denne "komedie" da ellers ok,

  • LOL. "500 years ago Danish was almost like Norwegian, but then we wanted to have our own language we wanted to be SPECIAL." Yes, we are all shpeshal :D

  • /watch?v=j7WsVXf5GY0 awesome remix, you should try it!

  • Rölevpö

  • tatti

  • While it's admirable that you handpick the brightest stars of Europe's scientific community, you fail to mention that American scientists made their discoveries applicable. The American space industry was populated by many expatriate German rocket scientists (von Braun), but it was JFK's vision which gave rocket science a new peaceful goal. Since the '80's the US has transferred much of its technology overseas, but it is always guided by our unique American vision of bettering mankind.

  • Jeg elsker dansk

  • Half of my heritage comes from Scandinavia and I don't know one damn word they are saying but this is the funniest shit I have seen all year!

  • idioter

  • LOL. Altimens I taler om en Skandinavisk Federation skriver I på engelsk.

  • @adamsbog godt poeng. Jeg forstår veldig godt hva som er skrevet på dansk og svensk. Islandsk er det værre med, beklageligvis.

  • jhaas asdkhd asdkjhd kjs

    AHAHAHAHA!

    -.-

  • Hahaha, and the funniest thing is that resent research has shown that danish children actually have more problems with learning their language than norwegian and swedish children! The difference could be seen up to a age of 8! xD (I heard it at a norwegian radio program about language that is called "Språkteigen" if anyone was wondering.)

  • @Felepusen But unfortunately for the rest of scandinavia, danish kids are the best at their secondary languages, like english or german.

  • dong ding xD

  • Tabere!

  • @MyWorldxp thanks for the intelligent comment.

Can you argue why a united greater Scandinavia would be a bad idea? Please.

  • yaii waghked iii daaanmaaaghhkkk fogh tghee yeaaaghss ....

yyeaai tghiiied gheally haaghd to leaghn danish ..... but yaaiii only managed to leaaaghn one santance ...."Jeg ikke taler dansk"

  • From Iceland i can only say. We are forced to learn Danish since the Danes ruled Iceland until 1918, Noone in Iceland actually understands why we still need to learn it but we start learning it even before English (which is much more useful i think)....

    :)

  • @elvar7073 said:

"We are forced to learn Danish" ..

"Noone in Iceland actually understands why we still need to learn it"

Are the Danes forcing you? ..Icelandic politicians have chosen not to cut the cord, that should've been cut long ago; 'cause the Danish state is too generous! - Free education, scholarships from Mærsk.. Oil money that rightfully belongs in Western Jutland. All this, 'cause hardline conservatives have wet dreams about forever ruling Iceland, Greenland and Faroe Islands.

  • @0lifr just take a look at that shitty mess you have brougth yourself into, you thougth that you could just buy the hole got damm world, diddent you , but you can`t even govern your own island . and you hateDdenmark. and for what for i am asking, for leaving you when you asked for it? or for not bailing you out now when you have a billion dollar debt?

  • Comment removed

  • @0lifr scandinavian Mafia anyone? (sarcasm-bound joke,im not serious) does that implies that "Heaven" everybody think Scandinavia must be,..isnt an Heaven...at all?

  • @elvar7073 ég byrjaði nú að læra ensku í fimmta bekk og svo dönsku í sjötta þannig að ég er ekki alveg sammála ;)

  • I liked the fact that Danes who are actually Norwegians made fun of Nynorsk in this video ;P

  • @SaturnineXTS No one actually like Nynorsk in Norway..

  • Im Swedish and it bugs me SO much that I dont understand either Norwegian or Danish very well. But both seem to understand me...

  • @moOswe

I'm Polish, but I'm pretty fascinated by Scandinavian languages... It does seem that the relation you've given holds much verity... having something of a background in Norwegian makes it very easy to understand many Swedish words which are altogether different than the Norwegian ones. My bet is that it's because Swedish has many loanwords from Latin-based languages, e.g. the word "heresi" will naturally be understood by a Norwegian, though their word for it is "kjetteri".

  • @SaturnineXTS I´m swedish but I have never heard the word "heresi"...

  • @SaturnineXTS Im swedish but I have never heard the word "heresi"...

  • @strofredde

Well my bad then... a band "The Few Against Many" has a song called Heresi, and it's sung in Swedish as well.

  • @SaturnineXTS We never use the word heresi, we say "kätteri"...

  • I'm norwegian, and i have swedish & danish family. But I personally feel that swedish is alot more understandable than danish. except maybe that swedish have some words that totally differs from the norwegian word.

    For example:

    Ice-cream=

    Swedish = Glass

    Norwegian = Iskrem

    sausage

    Swedish = Korv

    Norwegian= Pølse

  • lol wtf danish is the new norwegian, hmm well I guess it does have similar spelling with words,I never really had a chance to learn Norwegian when it came to learning Danish, hey check out my danish video and norwegian video

  • Haha, I just took a quick look back this message board ..

And they are ALWAYS the same:

    - I'm amazing - and you're just plain shit. ಠ‿ಠ

    - No, I'm amazing! You're the shitty one, you shitfaced fucktard! ಠ_ಠ

    - Fuck you all, I am fucking amazing - more so than both of you! (>_<)

    - What about me, I'm also pretty good. ʘ‿ʘ

  • @0lifr see? that means NO PLACE in the WORLD is evolved enough to be humble and respectful reciprocally, not even the LAND OF ODIN!

  • @awfulguitarplucker

I don't know, who you are arguing with..

I haven't made the claim, that Denmark is perfect.

  • Their accent is quite comperable with the scottish accent so weird. Still no they have things incommen

  • Hahahaaa, at the end they're clicking the 'watch video' button xD I thought they didn't understand oral Danish ;)

  • Oh, and a little about the languages. Learning Danish is mandatory in Iceland from about 7th-11th grade (ofc you can study it longer if you'd like). Most Icelanders don't like learning Danish though, but I do : )

and it is true that Icelanders can read 800 year old texts in old Nordic, though it is with some difficulties.

  • I, personally, think that we should re-create the Kalmar union. Combined, the Nordic countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Faroe Islands and Greenland) would have a population of 25 milion and cover 3.5 million km². That means it would be the 7th largest country and the 47th most populous. This, combined with e.g. the oil-sources and the Nordic welfare-system would make very powerful country.

  • @IcedIslander This will never happen, and you know it...

  • @splattertwat Probably not in my lifetime but I'm certain it will happen sometime in the future.

  • @IcedIslander Why did you exclude Denmark...

  • @janbku Ooops, sorry. Didn't mean to :)

  • @janbku Cause no one understand what danish people say.. Didnt you just watch the video?

  • @klansrop I understood it, I love Uti Vår Hage, even though I dont have european cable but I can watch it on youtube

  • @klansrop :)

  • @IcedIslander

What do you icelanders have to bring to the table? ;-)

  • @jakja83 Well, e.g. extensive knowledge in geothermal power and amazing natural beauty that attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists every year

  • @IcedIslander

Why should Norway share all our money with poor Iceland and all the others? Anyway, the Kalmarunion wasnt ANY good for Norway.

  • @IcedIslander bet its bigger. you forgets that a large part of antarctica is norvegian

  • @IcedIslander wow that sounds like world domination u are talking about

  • @IcedIslander Hell no!!! Swedes are not sane...

  • @IcedIslander Haha, no way we in Norway are going to share oil with you :)

  • @scar164 well, it's going to run out sometime right? and then you will need the other scandinavian countries to keep the good economy. for example, the swedish industry is much bigger than the norwegian, and we also have a lot more of the other natural resources like wood and steel. the only thing you have except oil is fish :P

  • @fultfejssomfan we are still richer :)

  • @IcedIslander

    great idea!!! cool!

  • @IcedIslander would be a good idea if it wasnt for the 1 million islamofascists in sweden and the pussy ass swedish man without a backbone!!!

  • @IcedIslander That sounds like an AWESOME idea!!

  • @IcedIslander u really think us norwegian would share our precious black gold ?

  • @Frincles If Sweden, Denmark and other nordic countries had something to say maybe we would use some of that wealth and upgrade our country. Not much use of that money if/when the stock market cracks. Then we loose all the money and still have the worst infrastructure in Europe (possibly before Albania).

  • @dahDougieBoy I was joking bro, and we SHOULD upgrade at least our infrastructure, fucking government sitting on 3k billions

  • @IcedIslander - I hate to burst your bubble but the "Nordic-style welfare system" does not make for a "powerful" country; in fact, Socialism causes poverty, discourages private investment and job growth, encourages immigration by non-working, non-assimilating minorities and inhibits research & development by the private sector (because there's no money in it.) Dream on little Icelandic dreamer!

  • @charlotteamalie Go back to the US with your dog eat dog capitalism. We actually like our social democratic system: sure we make less money than you guys, we also work less and a lot more services are free. It's not perfect, perfection in macroeconomics is unattainable, and after all is said and done, life in the EU is pretty sweet. Are you going to defend the deregulating Regeanomics/neo-con-o-nomics after the massive frack-up of the financial and property bubble?

  • @jono753 - All the great inventions, patents, designs, innovations, ideas and concepts that make life more comfortable and pleasant came from our "evil" Capitalistic U.S.A. Why is that? Because we had the freedom to explore and invent and the promise of a big payday. I don't know what country you come from, but I would like to know 1 original thing that you brought to the world to make it better for everyone. Just 1 thing.

  • @charlotteamalie Every important idea ever came from the USA? Kind of a crass use of hyperbole don't you think? Or maybe that's what is taught in your schools; just for kicks, who was Nazi Germany's biggest enemy?

And what's that about making the world better? I don't believe I have done one original thing to make the world better, that's a pretty huge claim to make! What's your world breaking contribution?

I thought the French were arrogant, I think that the USA NUMBER ONE! crowd is worse.

  • @jono753 - There is no greatness without arrogance.

  • @charlotteamalie Cute!

  • @charlotteamalie I hate the fact that the American mainstream media always advertised the fall of USSR in 1991 as a victory of the market economy. What that is wrong with the USSR was not the economy, but the fact that it was not a democracy. Now that you see China and Russia running state capitalism you finally realise it's time to advocate true democracy. It's too late. Congrats to the government of US of A for successfully turning China from a stalinnist state to a fascist-like one.

  • @h1zchan - You can't blame America for what Mao Zedong did to his people, his country, his culture and his history. If the Chinese had wanted to follow the American model, the Taiwanese model or the Hong Kong model, they certainly could have, but they followed Lenin's model. How is America to be blamed for that?

  • @charlotteamalie I'm not here to debate with you, but just in case you weren't aware of this - China is a market economy now, and they got rid of almost all the social welfare systems, in order to "improve their competitiveness". This is how China's cheap labour force came into existence. Bosses can lower wages and the workers, unprotected by welfare system and unions, just have to accept anything their bosses demand of them. This is the system that you've been advertising. Do you like it?

  • @h1zchan - Social Welfare doesn't liberate people, it further enslaves them. In America, we have generations of welfare recipients who have no ambition to get off welfare, they just keep voting in the same Democrat thugs who keep throwing state money their way. Is this freedom? Is this the ideal of rugged individualism that made America great? Heck no! This is imported European socialist CRAP. China doesn't have to give their people "social welfare", it's more productive to enslave them!

  • @charlotteamalie Seriously? All of them? I'm a full blooded American patriot, and even - I - recognize the arrogance of that statement. Madame Curie= French. Albert Einstein= German. Louis Pasteur=French. William Cullen=Scotsman. Honestly, how embarrassing for you to show off our *cough* wonderful public school system. *eye roll* One can be a patriot without being blind to the rest of the world.

  • @charlotteamalie It might a concept that doesn't appeal to you, but the rich must share the wealth, it's the basis of our economy. If the middle class shrinks and the poor can't buy anything the rich too will ultimately suffer, first through lower sales then losing everything when the people revolt.

Some redistribution of wealth is the price of living in a stable society.

  • @jono753 - The rich must "share the wealth"? Really? Says who? Karl Marx? If a thief held up a gun to a rich man and stole his money, you would say he's a criminal and throw him into prison. But if the government does the same thing, you call it "kind" and "necessary for stability". Socialism breeds violence and snuffs out innovation and invention. Wealth redistribution is an evil and drives away the engine of growth, namely the productive classes of society.

  • @charlotteamalie Yeah because the UK, Germany and France aren't powerful economies AND welfare states. You can have both, it isn't all or nothing!

I'm not advocating pure socialism (=USSR) or even communism. You do realise Europe is mainly capitalist right?

About all that violence, the USA's prison population is bigger than half a dozen EU countries, the murder rate is incredibly high, etc.

My point is that proportional income tax is the price to pay to benefit from society.

  • @IcedIslander Get the fuck out we don't need Iceland bankrupted country.

    Denmark - Sweden - Norway

    DANMARK SVERIGE NORGE!!!

  • @IcedIslander May Canada join? We share a (maritime) border with Greenland!

  • @Ginngrits Of course Canada may join. Canada's economy is largely social democratic and therefore fits great into this vision of a huge nordic union of welfare states.

  • Luckily we Finns wouldn't be a part of that .... unity.

  • When four languages over a period of one hundred years or more, it will become one. Like Scandinavia should be.

  • That is so very funny:D

    From a dane

  • I am absolutely not kidding. By doing this we would be able to close the borders for all the thieves, rapists and murderes thats invading our countries because of the EU/Schengen agreement.

  • We do not talk like that?????? :P

  • i live far north in norway and i cant understand danish at all i have difficulties understanding the western part of norway where they speak simular too danish. no problems with the sweeds and i have no clue what the hell the icelandic people are saying even if its old norwegian language.

  • Comment removed

  • @jasurul People in the western part of Norway does not sound similar to danish. You got that all wrong, it's actually the dialects in eastern and northern Norway that are closest to Danish.

Some of the western dialects are in fact pretty close in pronunciation to Icelandic.

  • @milkygear explain...?

  • @milkygear Aww, your naive ethnocentrism is so cute.

  • Has "Uti vår hage" made any more clips about denmark? I do really find this clip, and the earlier one about the flat dire really amusing.

  • Danish is a weird and difficult language to learn.

  • Pathetic norwegian people haha, Norway is the most weird language of all scandinavian languages :p

  • @MegaChokolade I do not agree and i'm swedish. I also know that people from iceland think that danish is a vierd language

  • I Love Scandinavia! I wish i would visit it someday!

  • @ownya88 (part 2) About Sweden never been controlled by Denmark, you are partially right, in the middle-ages the three countries were united under the Danish crone, thereby under Danish control.

  • @KizZpanQ kalmarunionen was a union, and where not controlled by Denmark. it was supposed to be controlled by sweden, Norway and Denmark but the norwiegan had a very low influence.

  • @ownya88 Every language develops from another language, as did Swedish and the Norwegian languages. "Nynorsk" developed from the old Norwegian language which developed from danish. Danish for example developed from the Germanic languages and then Swedish and Norwegian develop from that. Ofc the Danish we speak today aren't the precise languages Swedish and Norwegian developed from but they are very similar.

  • Swedish and Norwegian is both originated from danish, because we owned and controlled both!

  • @KizZpanQ That's not really true. For one thing denmark has controlled part of sweden but you have never controlled stockholm or the parts in sweden that really matters. We have never been speeking danish in sweden. But our languages was almost the same 500 years agoe. An dthe norwiegan Nynorsk whish is spoken by 10% of the norwiegans are not originated from danish.

  • Comment removed

  • @MartinSeth93

Actually it's a mix of Danish, Old Norse, Latin, French and English, it didn't have any influence from Icelandic which propagated from it's ancestral language and developed in a less radical fashion.

  • @MartinSeth93 wtf?? leksikon. kjøp det.

  • @MartinSeth93 actually it's not, Icelandic is in fact from old vikings of norway which settled in iceland. While vikings would not understand what the hell icelandics are speaking about they would be able to read it and understand.

  • @KizZpanQ and norway controlled all at some stage.. around 1200 ^^

  • @KizZpanQ all are originated from "Nordisk" you fool. and maybe u owned us before, but look at how that worked out and how the countries are now, i'd say that you should stfu

  • @FreeFallingRetard I guess your name is correct, except you spelled it wrong... It's "FreeFailingRetard"

  • @KizZpanQ such a strong argument...dumbass...

  • Jag är svensk och jag älskar det Danska språket. Vet inte varför med det är bara grymt :P Det låter så härligt och samma sak med norska ^^ skulle vilja lära mig danska :D

  • HAHAHAHAHA digger disse guttene!!

  • Comment removed

  • Haha... I love how norwegians think Norwegian came before Danish :P Just like Kims and Olsen Banden is norwegian - NOT!

  • @Dracullia

seems you are trolled by mr eia

  • @Dracullia

And how every dane I've met believes that Thorbjørn Egner and Kardemomme by is danish...

  • @rhov233 Don't even know who that is or what Kardemomme by is... =) k thx come again!

  • All the other scandinavian countries are allrigt, but heres only one Christiania, so... I gues... suck it

  • eg e norsk, og eg ÆLSKER det danske språket <77 Disse klippne er skammTidig ;PP

  • The other video was much better in my opinion. But this one's not bad, too.

Anyway, I study Swedish and while I find Norwegian quite easy to understand, Danish is rather difficult if not impossible. At least for me.
