Even though Boise used trick plays, you still have to defend them like any other play. A truly historic game, just so much fun to watch.

I think the announcer's name is Chris Meyers. Yes, he definitely ruined the proposal and he seems like he's rooting for BS, judging from the difference in his reactions to each team's scores.

but if nothing else, he gets SUPER excited and it definitely adds to the videos.

@bigbird063 Yea I mean... nobody pays attention to their 3-0 BCS bowl record... or their undefeated record since September 8, 2007... but y'know... this is just as good since Oklahoma is supposed to be one of the big teams...

Curious though... does that mean they were better than Oklahoma? Or just that Oklahoma was worse than them?

I never said anything about them being bad. But this game gave them the exposure that they needed. Were they a better team than Oklahoma in that game? The score says so, but how good is a team that relies on 3 big trick plays to win? I'm not trying to take away from BSU, but they would not have the attention that they do now if they'd have lost that game.

@bigbird063 Well I would say they're very good... remember they were running away 21-10 at the half. Granted it evened up but they went blow for blow with one of the best teams in the nation the whole game.

I disagree on that last point though. Win 43-42 or lose 41-42... I think the same questions start up, except in a different way. If they lost by a few scores maybe... but the fact that it's 1 point either way I can't see it as a huge attention breaker.

The reason why a win like this is something that couldn't be repeated is that Boise St. basically scored on all trick plays: a flea flicker, statue of liberty, running back throw, hook and ladder toss, etc., etc. To have all those plays work is unheard of.
