I just heard this song at the checkout at the grocery store - and I commented to the cashier that it was the worst song I'd ever heard in my life (she laughed). I had no idea who the singer was but when I got home I googled it and figured it out. What a total lack of rhythm, melody, phrasing. What a horrible pseudo-reggae-lite beat. What an overdose of sappiness. What an utter lack of artistic sensibility. This singer might have a good voice but she has no sense of how to interpret a song.

Sad to think this is listed elsewhere as by Norah Jones, who sings so differently. Also beautifully but completely different voice, tone, and feel. That and only 30,000 views... such a shame, this is by far my favorite rendition of Somewhere over the rainbow. Thanks.

@aliasfoxkde I'm sorry i usually don't do this and i hate people who do this, but really? this is your favorite version? are you too good for Israel Kamakawiwo'ole? you want some female version of a justin bieber wannabe singing perhaps the most beautiful song in the world and butchering it. I came to this video looking for a different take, i ended up quite literally throwing up in my mouth from this song. Listen to Israel Kamakawiwo'ole's and tell me his version is worse than this.

Such a great, simple song, sung honestly by a beautiful voice that has a great future -a great present even! What a shame she can't do a duet with Israel on this.
