George was just having fun, not being mean at all. Unlike what TMZ reported, Dr. Phil and his wife stayed there for a lot long after the booing incident; they didn't leave right away. But there were escorted by security when they left. His wife was a great sport about it, you can tell she clearly enjoyed the music.
yeah, i was there too n it was totally not mean, except people booed DrPhil a little. someone behind us was screaming his voice out "Dr Phil sucks" and "he's not a real doctor". When I turned around I was shocked to see a mega redneck straight guy who seemed to know every song by heart. go figure :)
we will have to send a couple of old boys to sort Dr Phil out and JR Ewing was there too...
