I bought the same shoes today and I have to say - my legs and arches look absolutely amazing in it)) but I don't know enough how quiet is it. So I'll see it tomorrow)) you have great arches, but you really need softer shank)
I had grishko fouette's too! They look WAY more flatterin on your feet...I have gone back to my 2007s because those shoes were terrible for my feet...I'm glad they stay on your heel, becuase they don't have a drawstring nd they kept falling off my heel:( Good job though(:
@dancerers12 There's no where decent that fits pointes except for one shop and they don't fit Russians, they don't even stock them. All they have are like 1 or two typed of Grishkos, Bloch, Freed and Gaynors.
I've had both Grishkos, the Freeds were way too uncomfortable(even on flat), apparantly they only stock the Blochs for wider feet, and I just overall don't like Gaynors.
@Balletgirlhopepointe well to break in the demi, you're gonna have to get onto demi(as much as you can) bend your knees and push all your weight into it. (I'm a fan of breaking them in with your feet and not anything else). The arch, well you're probably going to have to let that run it's course with a natural break in, or at a barre, you could put your one foot en point, turned out, put you're other heel into the arch of the shoe and transfer your weight to push into the arch. Only maybe though
@JaymeeLS the shoes as in thier nice and clean.... one way to improve ur arch just stand on ur pionte and bend ur knees and then go over ur pionte and like sit down and make sure ur butt touches the heel of ur pionte shoes, idk if thats discribtive or not but i can maake a vid showing u what i mean
@arinabehappyXD That's because they were brand new. I don't need to improve my arch, these shoes have a re-inforced shank, it stops me from going too far over the box, which in my old pair was causing me to go through a pair every 3 weeks.
@arinabehappyXD Yeah, I do agree with TheFabulousAmanda that I could use a higher profile, but with certain 'designs/models/ and not custom, you get what you're given, so to speak, these are the best I can get for now, if ever I'm in London, dedicated ballet stores will be my main priority. :)
@arinabehappyXD Nah, I haven't been able to, no where local fits them, and I'd rather not order them offline on the off chance they may or may not fit. I don't have much choice of shoe here, these ones were the only option for long-ish lasting and maximum comfort haha.
hey i have been wanting these shoes and you have the same size and with as me you should make a vid cuz i want to see haw they look on a widder set foot!
Hmmm I'm not sure, they seem to have a longer/the same length vamp as the 2007, but my higher arch just made me go straight over the vamp and knuckle, so the re-inforced shank is restricting my arch, but keeping my foot in-line in the shoe, if that makes sense? Haha

you have like the same exact feet as my friend emily. she has capezios, and for a while she had russians. maybe you should try those?

@arinabehappyXD The shoes don't look great, because they're what's causing the arch problem.

i read on the grishko website that the fouette pointe shoes were good for people with a low arch (like me :P) because they have a low vamp
