I think it's because the world slows down for them to tranform. Around Episode 25 I think it was, the one where the other mews are trapped in Ichigo's dream, when she was falling from the sky, she transformed in just a flash of light which pretty much supports my theory. But then again, why don't they attack them while they're dancing and attacking? (@ the people who wonder why the enemies don't attack them while they transform)

i have to say that Mint is the best one. Ballet transformation and whenever her costumes on her feathers come out cause she is the bird. and her music is the most dramatic one and fits her transformation.
