i read somewhere that Anne actually removed herself to Hever when Henry was first pursuing her, which would have been a risky thing to do if she was attempting to get rid of Catherine of Aragon and become queen. @9806mani well, anne was always feisty and henry was led to believe that she was committing high treason against him (sex with another man) including incest with her brother. Henry also wanted a male heir but Anne wasn't able to give him a son. Henry was getting fed up with Anne's firey personality and he had fell in love with Jane Seymour. Many people believe that he just used false charges against her to get her out of the way.
