  • Look closely you can see their kilts between the folds.

    It would ruin the whole idea of wearing Khaky uniforms, to stand out less in the muddy surroundings of the battlefields, if you're going to wear a brightly coloured Kilt.

  • That is a real kilt the Highlanders would have worn in ww1. Its called a Kilt Apron, under that they would have there normal kilts.
