I picked up my CZ 75 today and intend to shoot it on my next day off on Wednesday. From what I have read, many experts rate this weapon as one of the top five pistols in the world. It draws comparisons to the Browning Hi Power. I got it from Bud's Gun Shop online and paid 507.00. I'll post again on Wednesday and share the experience.
Disagree, the Browning hi power is the best pistol ever built, Complete steel construction, in production for 75 years, used for police and military forces across the world in over 90 countries and still active, many clones out there im talking about the made in Belgium quality. The HP was who introduced the double stack magazines in the world.
You feel the quality of this weapon just holding it.

@TheHELLRAZOR71 Well, the classic style is a 92fs, the military version is the m-9, and the newer redesign is the 90-two. There is also the cougar, which is now made by stoeger (a shortened version of the 92fs) and the models offered by taurus, who now owns the old 92fs patent share and factory in brasil. They are all decent model pistols chambered in 9mm, I have shot all of them. Personally I prefer a Browning High Power or a CZ-75B, they are generally more accurate. Personal Preference

@benkerr69 Well said sir, not to mention the added weight of cartridges that weigh a quarter pound apiece. Added also to the fact that it takes most people at least a full second to place an accurate follow up shot due to the shotgun-like recoil, I think the desert eagle magnum is a poor choice for most uses. If you need to stop a vehicle and don't have a rocket launcher it wouldn't be bad, but try to walk around comfortably with one strapped to your belt (ain't gonna happen)

@FpsAmericanRedneck There are a few out there, the first that comes to mind is the Coonan 1911 custom, they usually don't come cheap but I've heard good things about them. There is the LAR Grizzly, and the Whidley. I don't know if any are still made now. They have big grips with the long .357 rounds, and a lot of people who want that kind of power in a semi wind up getting 10mm, like the glock 20. I shot a buddys' one time and it was pretty spunky. Damn expensive ammo though.

some of these are actually good (1911, beretta 92, p99, sig p250, mk23, 5.7) all the others are just jokes. especailly putting desert eagle as #1. first of tha position should of gone to the glock model 19. the desert eadle in .50 AE maybe powerful but it isnt at all reliable. it frequently jams and malfuntions. also to break it in with 100 rounds, your gonna have to have deep pockets because .50 AE is going 50$ for 20.

I never see any Springfield XDm on here. They are very good pistols, but don't seem to be catching on yet. I tried an XDm in ,45 acp. It has 13 + 1 capacity and is pin point accurate. Its safer than a glock due to its grip saftey. More police officers have shot themselves with a Glock than all other hand guns combined. The knock down of a 1911 with 13 rounds. Just my thoughts on it. Not putting anyone down for their choice's.
@TheHambo58 Even the regular XD service model pistols are incredibly built weapons, a discerning group of people are die hard about their springfields, just the same as glocks. It pretty much boils down to the glock being around longer than the xd, and therefore caught on first. After firing both XD service .40 and the equal glock 23, I personally love the both of them. If I had to pick one to buy it would probably depend on which one costs less at the time.

When pull up a glock I always see alittle high,maybe because of the slightly different angle of the grip. And I like the grip saftey. But I think everyone should use what works for them. the desert eagle isn't a good gun in my eyes, its over sized and over powered, its completely impractical, the only reason people see this as a good gun is because its powerful, if you whant more power why not compromise with a .45 acp instead of .44, .357 and .50 AE

Who set the bar for a reliable polymer high capacity semi auto? Gaston Glock that's who. What's the most popular undercover carry weapon for us law enforcement? The Glock 23 that's what. What's in the holster of the majority of cops in the us? The Glock 17/22. For people that do work for real, the Glock is their choice.
@playeuchremore H&K was the first company to make a polymer pistol and glocks r good guns but they r held in to high regard dont get me wrong they r amazing guns just to many people overrate them ive owned 2 different glocks and ive had more miss fires with them then with my H&K USP and ive owned the USP twice as long and put 10x the rounds thru it and have literally never had a miss fire
@CVPI95 >I agree its one of the best, but the original design for the 1911 was a modifiied version on John Brownings design that latter became the Browning Hi-Power. When Browning tried to find interest for the more simple design no one in the US was interested, mainly because of the 9mm cal. And the US already had the1911 (also his design) so he went to Europe with it and the rest is history.
@ImYerrow Actually the Desert Eagle is way above the average regarding accuracy. Those claiming it's inaccurate are the fools that can't handle one properly and jerk the trigger, flinch, etc or those that hate the gun. When it comes to large caliber pistols, it's advised to start reloading as it saves a lot of money.
Before I even watch this video, I knew the Desert eagle .50 would be on the top. The most useless hand gun in the world. (I can't say much, I bought an S&W 500.) But at least you put the IMI 941 up there, That is my favorite pistol. Got it at a steal for $360. Also, try a Rock Armory 1911. I can change parts form my Colt 1911 with it and I notice no difference. And it cost half as much, if that.

But ive known people who carry one in alaska as they hunt. Because they cant count on a glock to take down a charging bear.

The Desert Eagle is a powerful Magnum-Pistol, on a battlefield it is usless sure you penatrate armor but it is Heavy plus it is just a Overpowered and High-Recoiled Magnum-Pistol. once the chance you need a weapon for back up do not bring this weapon, It will get you killed easily and fast but a Weapon like a Glock or Five-Seven or Beretta M92FS would be more of a Combat pistol not a Deagle it is heavy and slow which i Prefer for Number on is not a Gun but the Bullet 9mm/5.7mm
the beretta comes second my favorite is degal to. that can be a one hit wonder in the right hand, but pretty inaccurate. problem being the shells, not pointed, slow speed and changes direction.. I'd hate to be with a de.50 on a windy day, but would be glad to have. good vid
@SilentMastaKeba The Desert Eagle is extremely accurate, bad shooters make it inaccurate. There is also a reason why no one carries a .50 AE Desert Eagle, it's pointless. Spend less time on video games and more time on a shooting range with real guns.

Simple counter strike list, i believe that the author was a little kid when he did it. Beretta is the best handgun manufacturing company, they make the most accurate, relyable and effective handguns, plus its 9mm bullets are also very strong, not as strong as 50 cal, but strong enough to do serious damage, the barrel never overheats, the gun remains steady while rapid firing and never feeds back. If I had to fire pistols id use Bereatta! Walther comes second 4 me. Also very effective gun.
@SaudiNajdi99 It fires .357 Magnum, .41 Magnum .44 Magnum, and .50 AE. It is a lousy gun for a sidearm and is not equal to a rifle. If you think that it's a valid sidearm than stop playing Call of Duty and get out and shoot real guns.
I have to completely disagree with the Beretta and the Taurus being anywhere near the top 10. I have owned both and they are GARBAGE. I hated the Beretta so much I took a $400 loss and traded it for a single shot .22/410 and was happy to do so. The 24/7 was promptly traded for a Norinco .45, and, I feel I came out ahead on that one. It was nicer than my Colt 1991-A1. The rest? Most of them I could buy as belonging in the top 10. Most......and canadianbjj87 is absolutely right.
@Paulmarti As a matter of fact, a 92FS. I was lucky to get 2-3 rounds before a jam. F.T.E., Stovepipe, F.T.L. and the grouping was the size of a buick. I don't mean to brag and quite frankly hate saying it without proof to show you, but I'm a really good shot with a handgun. And I mean consistent FLETC Qual's that were 296 or higher out of 300 every year. It was just junk. Didn't matter if it was clean, dirty, oiled to the point of wearing it, mag swaps etc., it just wouldn't shoot.
@bigdogbuc I would say just give it another chance. Every manufacturer, even Glock and Sig Sauer, put out lemons, which is what it sounds like you got.
@Paulmarti Ergonomically speaking, the absolute, most comfortable gun I have ever held. And it was pretty. And that's where it stopped. After my last experience, I doubt I'll lay another $600 on the counter for one. No lemonade for me please.....but I am glad you didn't have to experience this type of complete failure with yours. At least one of us made out. As for the single shot...it never jammed once!

The Jericho and baby eagle are not the same gun as the video implies. Note the frame mounted safety of the Jericho, and the slide mounted safety of the baby eagle. Either way, the Jericho was just a copy of the superior CZ-75 IMHO.
It looks like you have a picture of a Colt Delta Elite, with the red triangle. It's a 1911 style handgun, only it's not the same caliber as the Taurus. Or, "1911 .45"

I never see any Springfield XDm on here. They are very good pistols, but don't seem to be catching on yet. I tried an XDm in ,45 acp. It has 13 + 1 capacity and is pin point accurate. Its safer than a glock due to its grip saftey. More police officers have shot themselves with a Glock than all other hand guns combined. The knock down of a 1911 with 13 rounds. Just my thoughts on it. Not putting anyone down for their choice's.

@TheHambo58 Even the regular XD service model pistols are incredibly built weapons, a discerning group of people are die hard about their springfields, just the same as glocks. It pretty much boils down to the glock being around longer than the xd, and therefore caught on first. After firing both XD service .40 and the equal glock 23, I personally love the both of them. If I had to pick one to buy it would probably depend on which one costs less at the time.

The Jericho is a CZ-75 clone, where's the CZ? The deagle........is a monstrous piece of steel rich people buy to say they have the biggest auto. When Browning tried to find interest for the more simple design no one in the US was interested, mainly because of the 9mm cal. And the US already had the1911 (also his design) so he went to Europe with it and the rest is history.

@ImYerrow Actually the Desert Eagle is way above the average regarding accuracy. Those claiming it's inaccurate are the fools that can't handle one properly and jerk the trigger, flinch, etc or those that hate the gun. When it comes to large caliber pistols, it's advised to start reloading as it saves a lot of money.

Before I even watch this video, I knew the Desert eagle .50 would be on the top. The most useless hand gun in the world. (I can't say much, I bought an S&W 500.) But at least you put the IMI 941 up there, That is my favorite pistol. Got it at a steal for $360. Also, try a Rock Armory 1911. I can change parts form my Colt 1911 with it and I notice no difference. And it cost half as much, if that.

The Desert Eagle is a powerful Magnum-Pistol, on a battlefield it is usless sure you penatrate armor but it is Heavy plus it is just a Overpowered and High-Recoiled Magnum-Pistol. once the chance you need a weapon for back up do not bring this weapon, It will get you killed easily and fast but a Weapon like a Glock or Five-Seven or Beretta M92FS would be more of a Combat pistol not a Deagle it is heavy and slow which i Prefer for Number on is not a Gun but the Bullet 9mm/5.7mm

Simple counter strike list, i believe that the author was a little kid when he did it. Beretta is the best handgun manufacturing company, they make the most accurate, relyable and effective handguns, plus its 9mm bullets are also very strong, not as strong as 50 cal, but strong enough to do serious damage, the barrel never overheats, the gun remains steady while rapid firing and never feeds back. If I had to fire pistols id use Bereatta! Walther comes second 4 me. Also very effective gun.

I have to completely disagree with the Beretta and the Taurus being anywhere near the top 10. I have owned both and they are GARBAGE. I hated the Beretta so much I took a $400 loss and traded it for a single shot .22/410 and was happy to do so. The 24/7 was promptly traded for a Norinco .45, and, I feel I came out ahead on that one. It was nicer than my Colt 1991-A1. The rest? Most of them I could buy as belonging in the top 10. @Paulmarti As a matter of fact, a 92FS. I was lucky to get 2-3 rounds before a jam. F.T.E., Stovepipe, F.T.L. and the grouping was the size of a buick. I don't mean to brag and quite frankly hate saying it without proof to show you, but I'm a really good shot with a handgun. And I mean consistent FLETC Qual's that were 296 or higher out of 300 every year. It was just junk. Didn't matter if it was clean, dirty, oiled to the point of wearing it, mag swaps etc., it just wouldn't shoot.

After my last experience, I doubt I'll lay another $600 on the counter for one. No lemonade for me please.....but I am glad you didn't have to experience this type of complete failure with yours. At least one of us made out. As for the single shot...it never jammed once!

The Jericho and baby eagle are not the same gun as the video implies. Note the frame mounted safety of the Jericho, and the slide mounted safety of the baby eagle. Either way, the Jericho was just a copy of the superior CZ-75 IMHO.
