this show still runs in germany and it is driving me damn mad... all 4 actors are sooo dumb and i am really wondering if they are real engineers. everything they do is sooooo far away from the real world which we are living in. nothing of the stuff makes actually sense and they never have built something really useful or at least have proofen that it could be useful after some changes. the whole show just doesn't make sense. they absolutely don't know what they are doing
This show seemed a good idea but the cast just don't come across as credible that they really designed and built these things. There must be another team behind the scenes and those people would probably be more interesting.
The reason why this show doesnt work I think is because they a trying to make it work, eg with all their overaggerated expressions and comments, and also the fact that their experiments are shit.
They should just be themselves and do better experiments.
The MB team actually made a fire on the ship using mirrors. What they did was even better than what was done on the 04 Olympics. They did not say you can not start a fire but they claimed was that it is nearly impossible to do the same on a moving ship.

wow, you think this show blows compared to mythbusters? the show the that "disproves" well known facts on a regular basis? ill never forget how hard we laughed at the scrubs who run mythbusters, when they disproved the "archimedes death ray" for the second time. don't the monkeys know that in the 2004 olmypics (hosted in athens, greece) this same thing was done successfully with tens of thousands of witness's? well, its a good thing that they "disproved" it on their show...twice...just brilliant
I think discovery channel pulled that some assembly required show b/c i havent seen any new episodes and I like that show its like a supped up version of how its made

Who the hell would do that then they think that blowing an air current up sand will stop a car or "bank robber." they did this experiment on actual sand. you have got to be kidding me, Maybe just maybe if they were in a F***ing desert it would work. God these guys are idiots. they need to get this damn show of discovery channel. No the sand trap one was not cool, non of them are.
