Disney paid her to be there and perform. It was all a publicity stunt. The reason they had it before her birthday was because Disneyland will already have the Christmas decorations out. Also, it would have been the peak holiday season during her birthday. They also need Tom Sawyers Island, were she performed, for Fantasmic.
