Well said! The point being nothing significantly wrong with the old one. It looks like the outside, including the walkway, is in pristine condition. It has 3,000 less seats. And by the way, the team is in turmoil. How do you manage to get a new stadium when you haven't won anything since Joe left (and before)?
I think it is a mistake to build a new ballpark. The current park seems fine. Although I am a Sox fan, I had wanted to go to Yankee Stadium for a long time but I guess that won't happen now.
I like that there are people like us out there who love the old stadium I am a huge cardinals fan and do not really like the new bush but I guess money talks and they need there corporate boxes to pay for all these cry babies I like your video maybe one day I will come to new york and see this new stadium
I heard that the old yankee stadium is not getting knocked down. Heard that monument park was being taken over to the new stadium and ever thing else will remain in place. I also saw that there will be trips to the old stadium given before current Yankee games for fans. So what's going to really happen
Actually, this is not the original Stadium. The whole Stadium was practicly rebuilt when it reopened back in 1976. The new Stadium will look very much like the original that opened in 1923. Bob Shepard the PA anouncer and voice of Yankee Stadium will be 99 years old when the new stadium opens. Hope he'll still be around.

The stadium should be declared an historic landmark so it can't be torn down
