Its amazing how this has all become so ingrained into the American psyche due to cartoons... I mean to the point where people like James Horner actually think its simply out of copyright which it isn't.... Love this piece though...And having to rush to finish I think almost... put that extra edge to it because this can be a dangerous piece to perform for wanting to slow down. And you DIDN'T rush it either and become disconnected so great!
@BrachioInGen If it's not in the public domain it will be soon, though. It's pretty old, and I think it was around even before they started using it in cartoons. Unless Warner Brothers bought the copyright for the song or something, it should be public domain soon.
@TheRealCodeBlack Looney tunes purchased rights to use the library of raymod scott for its cartoons but the muaic is all stull under copyright. A few years agothey released a new cd of some of his old work remasteredso yea, its still heavily protected, especially since the estate won lots of money from disney lol
