  • I have some really good ideas at the moment, some real, some fantasy I admit due to my lack of funding, knowledge and having a team of top 3D Game creators - but the pieces of my puzzle are coming together slowly...Probably will need 3D glasses and wireless headphones as part of my idea, but trying to get away from the need for all that. Need to study all angles more for what really works.

  • can you upload that?

  • what programs did u use?!?!? pls reply

  • @sk83r96 D'Fusion by my company Total Immersion

  • @EmmanuelMFr

is it free to download? and where? i beg u reply i rely wanna do dis

  • @sk83r96 It's not free, it's the core product of my company

  • how is he doin that

  • The best sample for AR games is the game for PS3 "EYE PET" it works like that. It has also a magic card to be get scanned by the eye toy cam for some applications ingame.

  • IMHO, augmented reality has great applications in the energy effiiency industry and also the carbon cap and trade.

  • OMFG you are a retard.

Seriously; you're an idiot. "Oh, lets link everything to dumbass global warming bs." Could you BE any more desperate to look hip?

And enjoy your cap and trade, have fun going broke while the world freezes over.

And to all the people who aren't stupid libtards desperate to funnel all the money of society into a few scam companies based on said companies fear mongering, yeah we probably will be seeing standardized AR one day, but not for a while.

  • People are going to be living inside of augmented reality.

  • @buttersbutt people have been living in augmented reality since the Big Bang. The whole of reality is Augmented.....

  • Actually, this makes me think of

    what an AR version of

    "Marble Madness"

    and/or

    "Crystal Castles"

    would be like!

    ;@b

  • Just imagine AR sex games ;)

  • Life sized AR sex games ;)

  • haha ohh yeah!

  • Yeah, just forget about real sex games, nerd.

  • lol no kidding right?

  • really cool!

  • very cool stuff!

  • That's really cool. It would be great if you could make transparent glasses (with a built in camera) that only reproduced the planets (and other imposed images) and left the rest of what you see as it is. This would make for some ridiculous games. Imagine a racing game (similar to micro machines) but played using your own house and tracks that you physically have to build.

  • thats exactly what i was thinking of

  • check vuzix iwear wrap310.

  • what program did you use?

  • soon well have holo gram computers. I can't wait!

  • i think japan is working on a hologram

  • That sounds cool but this is not a hologram.

  • I understand the image is read from a barcode? How are you able to touch/handle it's contours?

  • The castle is real. The 3D grey castle is there to show that the computer knows where the castle is in the image at any time.

  • oh, so the castle is real?

  • special glasses with screens instead of lenses, and a camera. You could have a 3d desktop on your computer!

  • where can i buy it

  • Why there is no sound or vocal explanations?

  • It's an old video not done with Youtube in mind at the time.

  • i think the EyeToy for PS3 has the same mecanics

  • There are at the moment many very different techniques for similar effects.

  • that's sweet. it would be cool if you could synthesize resistance resistance when touching an object, so that not only do you effect objects in the virtual image, they would effect you.

  • Such a technology is called haptic technology, and it is still a bit too geek even for us, I'm afraid !

  • hi, i was wondering if you would be interested in combining my fluid dynamics simulations with this. for example, having cups and bowls in the scene and being able to scoop up water with a virtual cup.

  • Holy shit!

  • How did you do this, I mean with what program?? It's really awesome :)

  • awesome!... is that thing for real ?.. or only looks like this in the camera ?

  • You have to look at a screen (or inside goggles) to see the virtual things.

  • It's that model real, isnt it?

  • The castle is real, yes.

  • The entire structure is a pattern then! :D

  • sorry for the bump of about 4 months, but can you use any object, for example a book, or a cup. or are all the objects used pre-programmed or anything?

  • The objects are pre-programmed (shape and/or texture, depending on the algorithm we use). Once the computer know that, you can move them freely.

  • green screen ftw

  • lol

  • I looked.

  • rubber ball? make blue earth!

  • !!!!!what a amaging movie!!!!!I'm lucky I watch it!!!

  • why is he moving the object so slowly?

  • Every technology has a beginning :-)

  • But is it correct that you wouldnt actually see those balls with your own eyes. Is there goggles of some sort for this? that would be something...

  • yes there are, there is currently a video game controller system for first person shooters like Halo for the pc and the gun cotrols the aim and sight and you see the game with the goggles! its cool ive played it!

  • i wanted him to stop the marbles from rolling away, but then i remembered they werent real.

  • I can't wait to get my hands on some of the stuff that is going to be coming out soon.

  • ..eye toy
