ill give u all your coke, grinders, spoons, pot, guns and knives and all that back when u come out the other end XDDDDDDDDD this movie is hilarious!!!!
Easily one of the most underrated movies of the 90s. Just pure absurdity and bizarre hilarious nature the whole time. I remember first seeing this as a kid and thinking the beginning was going to set the movie completely differently. Fuck all these pretentious douchebags who trash this flick... No of course it wasn't intended on being schindlers list
I have seen this movie 109238123 times since I was like 5 and I just now found out on IMDB that DANIEL BALDWIN is the main druge dealer in this movie(the guy in the gray suit). I have also seen Bio-Dome 10000000 times, cant believe I never noticed before...
@EternalWolf86 Don't feel too bad. I only just realized it myself a couple of weeks ago. I think it's cause the Baldwins are in just about everything, so you don't even notice them sometimes.
@MegaWallace26 Yeah, I noticed that around 10 years ago or so when I was a kid, thought it was pretty cool. I have never seen Baldwins hair like that in other movies, it just makes him look different. Even in the Usual Suspects he still had a somewhat stoner look to him like in Bio-Dome. Tupac has that Juice haircut in the movie which is trying to make a comeback, a few players in the NBA are sporting it now.
@RealLiveDebates Yeah. Bothers me, too. But according to one of the previous commenters there was a test screening of the film in which this scene was much more gory. I would love to see a release of that some time soon.
This is what they need to do to every person that voted for Obama, and every person that watches "reality shows" and "jersey shore" on tv. They need to do this to 1 billion people. Going to have to build a much bigger, Mr. Bone Stripper
@lovesteadybrowneyes You've got that right...I just happened to turn on the TV, saw this scene, and its haunted me for about 10 years (not in a bad way, but yeah, freaked me out for a time and then some)
@zuzulo56 are you totally and completely serious? how do you know this 100%? clearly your joking riiight? I idolized this flick and saw it 100's of times, ever since 1991 or 1992.
I think I was 5 when I saw this scene, but my memory has it being a lot longer, more serious in tone, and way more graphic. Freaked me the fuck out as a kid,
"Nothing But Trouble" - It's stupid; the plot makes little sense; the story doesn't always add up.......................................and I watch it whenever it comes on. I mean it. This movie is a serious guilty pleasure of mine. Though it doesn't make my favorite movie lists, I can still enjoy it and laugh. Not Dan's best work or any of the other actors in this movie, but you can tell they had fun making this movie.
"I tell you what there. I'll give ya all yer coke and yer grinders and spoons and pot and guns and knives and all that back to ya when ya come out the other end!" lol. Dan Ackroyd was freakin awesome in this movie.
@TheAltair4 Right on! I really don't know why this movie gets such a bad rap. Ackroyd should be getting more credit for this role, and for the film in general. The good thing is people seem either to love it or hate it. I think it's innovative and true twisted comic genius ;)
Everyone seems freaked out by this scene....Is it bad I'm the only one who was turned on by it? Going though the first part with the cylinders would be fun(not the other parts we dont see though)
According to Wikipedia, the original cut of this Movie was called 'Geeked' and when shown to test audiences, had tons more blood and gore. This scene was probably one that grossed them out, so they removed all traces of splatter in the final theatre release. Then they changed the title to 'Valkenvania' which is a much better and fitting to the atmosphere. Somebody out there in Hollywoodland has the complete version on tape. Dan Aykroyd...I'm talking to you!!!
@johnedsel It's probably safe to say there may be enough of us out there who want to see the complete, original, uncut version. And the two of us should do something about it ;p
It doesn't look like it has a very good entrance that prevents escape. Someone could grab the fence in the cart and prevent being thrown onto the conveyor belt or run on the slow moving conveyor belt grabbing the side fence to jump off the sides. Even before they fall into the cart, the conveyor belt in the court room is easily beaten by moving off it. There is still about 3" on either side and there is a railing opposite the bench. Well, it was a good try for hillbillies.
@wwazman Why ? There is way more graphic TV and movies today then this ... Go watch Saw . That movie should of been banned and the guy who wrote it should be committed
I could not remember the name of this movie, been trying to figure it out for years. I actually started to believe I had dreamt it up 3-4 times... Seeing as I do have alot of repeat dreams. I was an '83 baby... Great movie, loved it! Now I can share it with my 7 year old son! hahaha...
Had a dream about this scene, woke up, and looked it up. This scene used to thrill and scare me as a kid, lol. It appears if you just brace for the end, you can survive by grabbing onto something on the conveyor(believe me, for the first 3 years watching this movie I was devising an escape plan.)
Me too, when i was a kid, in case if i was being arrested in that town and i was sentenced to ride Mr. Bonestripper, I've been planing to grab onto something and then make a break for it. All i had to worry about was Denni's trigger happy cousin. Good times when i was a kid.
I've been trying to figure out what this movie is since I was a kid too! I actually just consulted a horror movie website describing this scene for help!!!!!!!!
