Last wednesday I walked into my local recordshop and one of the employees said to me: "Oh wait a minute, I've got something beautiful for you!". He showed me 'Smoke Ring for My Halo' by Kurt Vile and said: "Beautiful singer-songwriter record! It also has some Elliott Smith influences. You'll like it!". I never heard of it, so I gave it a listen and was blown away by it! Such a wonderfull records by such an unique artist! End of year material!
