But, Leon in my opinion is a better character in the Resident Evil games. I usually never use Chris, because I heard how infamous Resident Evil 5 was. To be quite honest, both have their own fan boys and fan girls. I just usually use Wesker in MVC3 because without the help of Sheeva, Chris would be dead right now.
