Love your videos! You have such a comforting and friendly voice. This is a great idea when you consider those Frosty Paws frozen treats cost $4 for 4 italian ice size treats.
This recipe came in very handy, thank you so much! Today was unusually hot, so my doggy loved the cubes! :3 Thank you so much, watching her chasing them was funny, they're really slippery... XD
I just made some they are in the freezer right now I didn't use as much water as you did and I only added 1 beef bouilion but I hope my chocolate Labrador coco likes them!!!
I just made some! Well.. Kind of (: instead, I made mine with oats, a little bit of cheese, meat from leftover spaghetti, and chicken bulion instead (: I hope it turns out good my dogs :D
my older dog would not eat those for his life!!oh my god hes waayy to picky.but the new puppy we have now will eat just about anything!she hears the clatter of the dog bowls are goes flying out of my arms!when we're giving food to chiqui i have to lock her in a room so she wont notice he's eating.since he is not aggressive,he never will protect his food and she just eats it!oh and did i mention she cries like a firealarm!i wake up in the mis=ddle of the night and find her crying to go out side!
@GoneToTheSnowDogs sure.but there hasnt been hot enough days to give em ice cubes.i gave an icecube to the puppy and she plays around with it licking it
@Padfoot74 Yup, and putting Chicken Chuncks in it! I have also done Ice Cubes with Tuna. I don't drain the water from the can, and just add more water, they are MUCH messier, but same idea
Oooh so cute! Shelby sneaks under the table and tries to get her frozen beefy cubes! Shiloh is the most educated girl in the family! She can wait for her dog treat time! Wow!
Another thing you can usually do is mix some yogurt (plain) with melted peanut butter and freeze it over night. Note it is tough to get out sometimes. xD
It was very cute watching Shelby's eyes as you were making the treat. I will definitely make some for Taanka (without the rice which he cannot have) but I will find something special to add in
@GoneToTheSnowDogs I did something similar for tomorrows Boston heat wave. I bought a can of beef and barley soup. I picked out all the good size pieces of meat and potatoes, and added them 1 per section of the ice cube tray ...along with a bit of barley for each (1 tray potatoes, 1 tray beef) then added water to the concentrated soup and stirred till I had a broth. then filled the trays with the broth and suck in the freezer. I'm so excited for tomorrow, My Shiloh gets a new/cool treat, Thanks!
@MiturBinlsderty True, but I dont' like putting hot water in my freezer to start to melt other items in my freezer. For Health reasons, it's safer to cool the water first.
