These guys and "chick" do what they do well.....yes they are burying themselves in a "genre"......But they do it with a glint in their eye and swagger. I applaud them soundly.

When I saw "indie rock" on the SP website and that you guys were the winners, I was excited to see a fresh band with a fresh sound. And then I listened to you. You guys are nowehere near indie or incredible; you sound just like any other pop-idol band with some half-assed strumming in the background. Paramore already did this. Not impressed.

And not to be a jerk, but your fucking outfit pisses me off. That's either a rocker fail or TRUE individuality. The kind with no sense of fashion.

"Indie rock" music simply means rock-genre music produced independently, without assistance from a major record label.

Listen to their other songs, then maybe pull the hipster stick out of your ass. This is their "major" single in that they entered it into a huge contest(and won), so it's not surprising that it's pop-ish and familiar sounding.

And who cares about the outfit? It doesn't affect the most important part of what's being produced, which is the music.
